This is why I always say to buy a brand new key from the manufacturer, they have the coded machine that cuts the key, the code comes from the build sheet of the car. It is also very wise to keep a key pasted to the file of the car that you keep inside your house, make copies from that.

bro u r right but the problem is even the pins get deshaped with the passage of time and get shaped according to the deshaped key and then a new key won,t work easily (if i,m not wrong)
bro do recommend a solution for the current problem of Metalhead sure u can give a better solution...

What about a spare remote for the security system. Its victor brand. Can i make a duplicate of it?

making a duplicate is very difficult until u have Electronics Engineering Degree
better to buy a new unit and u will get two new remote....
I was also thinking about doing the same as i have 2 remotes one broken but working and i also don,t like the remote shape....

Swapping the unit is I think a wise option as we will get two new remotes and of your own choice. For the key problem, i will service the key locks and then make a duplicate. Anyways thanks for the valuable suggestions.

I rubbed the paste with bare hand first with a cloth but massaging the paste for few minutes will cause itching in hands and the color of the hands will also change in my case they got pink (paste color :P) and smell. So do cover your hands with something like this


Now massage the paste with cloth for few minutes


Wash the headlights and see the results


Make sure to wax the headlights so the headlights can last long without oxidation as now their oxidized thin protecting layer is gone.

This civic have plastic headlight so 4 sure medicam works well with plastic so y try something else

Removed the rear number plate for the detailing session and see what i found. The previous owner has almost raped this portion with three types of double side tapes...


To remove the tapes i filled that part with HOT water as u can see in next pic and with finger nails removed the tapes....


After that removed the defects with ULTIMATE COMPOUND

I don't think your civic has done just 50000km it seem in excess of 150000 km
