If you haven't already, I'd suggest you get your fuel injectors cleaned, preferably ultrasonically (Magic Motors Lhr has the facility). Choking / irregular pattern on even one fuel injector can cause your car to turn into a gas guzzler.

Post us the results when done.

The kabali one was available around 3000 Rs. but I got the new one in 6000 Rs. Yes the water body of the pump is replaced which has bearings in it.

Thats the water body of pump that is replace. It has a bearing which was doing chur chur chur chur. Thanks god it was identified and replace.

Bro I got it changed from Toyota 3S Dealership. My experience with 3S Dealership is not good especially in case of vitz. But that CVT change was done well by them. I got it changed from Capital Toyota on potohar road, 1-9, Islamabad. They have plenty of vitz experience. (Still they do not look like experts )

Usually mechanics drain the oil through drain plug which lets almost half of the oil out instead of the full 4 ltr....maybe because opening the oil chamber completely requires expertise...

You are right bro. Make sure to ask the mechanic regarding new CVT chamber seal (gas kit). That seal is recommended to get changed on every CVT change.

i ve been following ur thread since quiet some time now as i have learned a lot from ur experience regarding vitz as well as the other users online who also own vitz i have been planning to buy one since some time now and finally i good a v good deal last week so i do have the car now but i have a few concerns as i m new to vitz

my 1st question for u sir is what have u done to ur car regarding its road clearance i mean my car hits the speed breakers each time when i have 2 ppl sitting at the back? then i ve been thinking recently to change its tyres but the stock tyres r of size 165 70 r14 and changing only the tyres wont help as i want to install 15 inch alloys to it but thats goin to take me atleast another month as m a salaried person so neways i was thinking to install 1 inch spacer at the back for the time will it help? and how much would it effect it looks??

2nd is regarding the cvt transmission i still dont know from where to fill it up and how much do u need to fill it?

3rd is my vits has got its in dash multimedia system which only plays audio cd and the worst part is i can only listen to fm 89 on it as it doesnt go beyond 90 i guess so wat do u suggest me to do with it ? is there ne player available in the markets that fit in exactly as this original one?

4th is i jus got my car tuned oil oil filter and air filter changed from toyota i9 islamabad as it had 44000kms on it so i went to them asked them to tune it they took out its throttle body and the plugs the originals plugs that came out of it were denso iridium so they only cleaned them up and adjusted their gap installed them back again as with the throttle body they cleaned it up with the carb cleaner the only prob that m facing now is that even when the car is parked or on neutral the rpm is more then 800 according to my guess its on 1200 or 1500 i suppose when i spoke to their guy again he said its goin to come down to 800 eventually ...... is that true?? coz i think its stil around 1200

Walikum Asalam Nice to hear you got ur new ride. Congratulations.

1) As far as "scratching on every bumper" is concerned, there is nothing new in it This ride has very low ground clearance. The best solution is to get better RIMS. The largest fit in this ride is 195/60/R15 which does not harm suspension. Bro Doc Junaid has got this size. He says his car hits no bumper whatsoever. You are asking about installing spacer in the ride. I have never done it and have no expertise in that. It is a cheap solution but it might make the car feel stiff and driving and handling might also change. I think that it;s better to change tires than altering any stock dynamics of the ride. Please contact some expert in this regard. Try posting the question in suspension forum.

2) First you must get sure that your ride is indeed a CVT ride. If it's a CVT always try to get it changed around 50,000 Kms. We have discussed CVT oil regarding issues in this thread countless time. There is a link given to CVT oil change procedure on the top of forum. You can get the CVT changed from Toyota at potohar 1-9.

3) The JDM original player cannot access all the FM frequencies in Pakistan. So you will have to change this player. I do not think exact like this player is available. You can get a DVD player which will get fit just like original one or try some simple player. Better go to some car accessory shop and get the details.

4) I have never checked idle RPM I have no idea. Try posting in vitz fan club. You will get a great help

actually i also own a suzuki swift 2012 so the size that i had in my mind for vitz was 185 60 r 15 but this size is not available in the market so a guy recommended me to put on 185 65 r15 which i guess will b alrite for my ride ... then coming to the alloys i cudnt find a decent yet stylish alloys most of them were chinese but i saw suzuki swift oem alloys at one of the shop i m plannin on putting them on my vitz as there quality n built will b much better than the ones available
195 60 r 15 will b a bit too wide for vitz as this size is recommended for corollas and civics and the steering might get heavy plus its going to effect the mileage as well
lastly may i ask which tyre size have u installed on ur vitz and how much average kmpl are u getting?

now coming to the transmission mine is 1300 cc with 2szfe engine so it has a k410 cvt transmission i got the original toyota cvt tc oil from mehran autos saddar and its original kit as well so i ll b going to toyota motors in i 9 soon to get it changed

3rdly i chekced with rockmars today they said the player with gps is not available but the one with dvd n all is
