Had Chappal Kabab from a local shop which were good. Came back to hotel and after some chit chat went to sleep as we had to leave early morning at 07.00 for Malam Jabba and then back to Lahore.Had a sound sleep of about 7 hrs and woke up fresh next morning.

Travelled about two hrs on Mingora Road and reached a point from where we had to turn to left for Malam Jabba. The road was paved till this point but after this it was all broken and had a lot of jumps. Took 2.5 hrs to complete a distance of 25-30 kms upwards. Reached Malam Jabba Sking resort entry point where movement of Cars forward was stopped as a skiing championship was being held at the skiing resort. Shuttle service was arranged by the local govt to reach the resort which took rs. 20/- per passenger. Reached the skiing resort through shuttle service.

After staying there for 1.5 hrs we started our journey back for lahore with beautiful memories. on the way back at Bata Khel Bazar we planned to have Kabli pulao in lunch. Luckily found Hameed afghani Kabli Pulao Restaurant which served the Best Kabli pulao i have ever eaten. the taste and the presentation were awesome. Unfortunately didn't take a photo of the whole thing but have one pic from there

Took 5 hrs to reach mardan Shakai Interchange from Malam Jabba. Reached there at 8.00. From There reached Lahore Toll Plaza at 12.00. A great trip came to an end with surprises at the begining and end as when we reached back lahore all the roads were also blocked due to PSL final. Otherwise a memorable trip througout.

had recently gone with my family to swat in my altis. I travelled almost about 15 kms beyond Bahrain towards kalam but then turned back as was short of time. i think unless you hit snow the whole journey is pointless in winters as the landscape is very harsh and depressing.
