Installed this Tyre Pressure Monitoring System in my car today. I had the external one from Visture before that cost me 25 dollars. It wasn't that good - the screen started to fade out and it turned completely off once for no reason and came back to life suddenly later.
This ons is Xiaomi 70mai tpms. Link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32971727308.html
This time around these are the internal ones and the quality of the receiver is WAYYY better than the cheaper one. It charges even when there is not much sunlight. And it's battery seems to be more reliable. The other one would suddenly turn off. The only downside to this one is that it shows Tyre Pressure in Bar instead of PSI so you need to get familiar with that unit as well but it took me just one day to get an idea of how much should the tyre pressure be. General rule of thumb is 1.5PSI = 1 bar
I'm in love with it's design and simplicity and for me, this is a MUST have for every car owner so that you can know if there is a problem with any of the tyres in case it punctures when you're at high speed. Happened to me once when I didn't have any TPMS installed and it's nice to know that the tyres are all well just from a glance at the unit. It is solar plus charges with USB so no wires had to be cut. However, the tyre air nozzles had to be replaced for the sensors to be inside the tyre.
