However, since it would be an experiment, it would be advisable to first do it on a cheaper/ older vehicle

since there's no real quality standards for these compounds, I'd think twice before using them internally. Smell and fumes are very likely side effects.

It is still a very nice idea (if there arent any side effects).

I started my diy by purchasing 3 cans of 1kg each Butain, each can cost me Rs 340/. Service station cost me Rs800/ for their work, Rs300/ petrol and Rs 50/ diesel is used in all diy.

service station located in gulshan iqbal near nepa chorangi, it is a cng station pump previously known as shell pump.

1 advice put some polish on your interior & also on tyres as in picture it seems too dry or may be picture problem

butaine reacts with petrol even after its dried up and hardened. i recently experienced that it turns to mush (icky gooey black sludge) once soaked with petrol and then it dries up in a day again. but the fumes are intense and it leaves its place (or drips depending on what angle its located at) when in sludge form.

here's to hoping that this product doesnt do the same.

Dr Saheb has got the anti-rust coating for the car underside ... it adds a thin layer of protective rubber.

We are looking at it with the hope to find an affordable alternative for Dynamat .. meant for sound deadening of the car.

i used a similar product for undercoating my mehran some years back. dont know about the sound deadening part, but the rest was all the same.

Thanks for the concern, I had mehran as well and i coated it too, problem is with its thin body that cant create any sound deadening, but in corolla the base plate is very thick already so give a good road noise reduction effect, u can feel this effect on highway. let me show u the picutes of both cars.

i never felt it was something unusual or out of the ordinary, dont know about u guys but go to any roadside mechanic he tell u loads about it, everyone gets it done, especially if its an old car, or u live by the seaside. anyways since many people did not know, i guess he is helping you people out.
