All the news regarding the car seats and grill upgrades have as much credibility as the countless of threads with People discussing Launch of Honda city new model for the last 2+ years and similarly the launch of new Honda motorbikes for the last 50+ years.

I bet if you go to the dealership and tell them you have no interest in the new upgrades and would like the current model to be delivered to you right now as the date has already passed I`m sure they would not hesitate to tell you if you wait for another 4 months Honda would be adding a NOS to the new upcoming cities as well free of cost just for you LOL...

Owner of a 3S dealer from whom I didn't book my car told me so, he gains nothing from disinformation, I never spoke to the dealer I have booked from except the day when I handed them payorder. Second person to inform me is someone who works there.

But hey you could be right, your argument seems irrefutable, grounded in absolutely logical "assumptions". I guess I ll suck on that lollipop till end of April. I can't do much else either.

Haahaha i was expecting bucket seats man! but NOS seems alright. I have a feeling that Honda may charge additional amount for minor changes but my question is do i have to pay that amount or my bank will pay? from where it have been financed, sound so funny.

For now bank will pay but they will increase your monthly installments and charge twice as much

absolutely correct, they are not even able to deliver the current orders on time then why would they be changing it in the first place when they are already overburdened with bookings for the current City model, it seems like a Lollipop to me.

Not taking sides here. We're all Honda City lovers, but just FYI. As a rule for car manufacturers, they first get the booking from the customer and then the car goes into production.

Also, they first started teasing for the BR-V before they launched it, and if memory served they also teased for the Civic before they launched it. It is unlikely that they will start production before they launch the car. But then this is my opinion based on the information that's publically available through official platforms.

I know this doesn't help with the lollipop, but just letting you know that this is a expired lollipop that didn't pass FDA approvals.

no it is still not delivered even tough the documents have been received a few days ago, for now they keep giving me lame excuses, every other day they assure me that it will arrive the very next day but so far I am being Lollipopped by them and the car is still left undelivered.

Usually it is other way around that car arrives first then documents delivered. It can't happen that no car is there . They should be able to tell about whether it has been dispatched or not.

I have a feeling that your car has been sold by the dealer. They will give you new documents again

well honestly I also have a strong feeling that the car has already arrived and is parked in their garage but may be because they want to make deliveries to their favorite customers first that is why they are delaying it however I don't think they have sold my car to someone else because I have the original documents with me which has the chassis and engine number printed on it therefore giving it to someone else is not possible.

I contacted dealer today on 8th April and he confirmed me that new batch production of city will be started from 18th of April with minor changes in front grill back lights and may be front head lights. That will cost extra 15 to 20 k. No face lift s my friends they will continue this 5 th generation with above said changes till mid of 2018. After that they will think to launch new 7th generation. One of the officer from honda told me that 5 th generation is selling like a hot cake and we will not launch new model soon. So that is the latest update my friends. I am still waiting for my city m/t 1.3 booked on 17th December 2016..and still waiting....

It may be possible that its just a lollipop. Bcz in order to enhance civic and brv production to reduce the pressure from their customers of civic and brv they purposefully stopped production of city by giving a lollipop of design change.

After all that has been mentioned by dozen of people within this thread about their experience with the dealership and the company and my personal experience from the time of booking till this day where the deadline has passed 10 days back I have found these people to be a absolute lying piece of crap and not one thing that has come out of their mouth has had a shred of truth and still people here are discussing and waiting for free upgrades and unannounced model changes happily sucking the lollipop forgetting these scammers have taken complete payment already and after waiting for months we dont have shit about the exact delivery time, no one has reached out to explain why our cars have been delayed and when these would exactly be delivered and on top of that they treat the customers like they dont give a shit.

Now I understand why every-time I argue and berate these dealers they always say " Sir baki log bhi to intizar kar rahy hn ap kya itna tention lay rahy hn " because everybody indeed does not care what the terms of the deal were and happily accept any excuse from these people. You know what they say

Initially i was going to book an Aspire 1.5 a week back.. but after reading this thread, changed up my mind and bought GLi on own.
To hell with these fags. Hope i made the right decision..
