So guys, the total tax of Toyota Altis for this year is 9000 (TokenTax)+4500(Income Tax)+200(Professional Tax = Rs. 13700/- total. If I deposit this amount before 31st July, will I be required to pay 10% discount on the total 13700?

Please also tell if Excise offices are receiving token tax too? I had to go all the way to GPO at Mall Lahore previously.

My exi is registered in jan 2005 i think. So it means it will fall under the 10years old category. For 10years old exi is it fixed amount rs4500? or will there still be any taxes applied on top of that?

Yes if you buy car after June 30 only then you do not need to pay token for that year. For instance you register your car in July 2015 only they they will recover tax till June 30 2016. But if you register before July 2015, you will have to pay for next year i.e July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

If you are registering your vehicle before July 2015, aren't you suppose to pay for 2014-15 year, as well as the next year 2015-16?

Also there is a 60 days time after taking delivery of your car to get it registered without any fine. If a vehicle is delivered on 15th May 2015 and the owner gets it registered on 15th July 2015, then does he have to pay for the year 2014-15?

Since you have got registration, kindly consult it. Somewhere it is written "Tax to be recovered wef" and see the dates.

No, Corolla's papers are yet to be received. The due date is 27th July, 2015 but I am sure they won't be available at the due date. They are always late. The papers I receive last month were of Suzuki Mehran, they were also late by a month. The car was registered on 20-02-2015. ETO inspector re validated them for tax purposes till 30-07-2015
