Gonna pay the token for my axio for the first time... Can I pay at any post office in Islamabad or it has to be the nearest one to the address in the registration?

Also I just got a piece of paper as registration proof, isn't it supposed to be a book? or I have to get it made myself?

You need to find the GPO which is related to your Address.

If you have bought a second hand car then see the registration book and check the post office to which it is registered.
If the car is new and you have just got its registration then you have to register it with any post office which is convenient to you.

Do not go to GPO there are very long queues at all GPOs, at your nearest post office queues would be less longer. First go to ETO office and get the registration doc restamped (becoz post office will ask you).

Yesterday i submitted token fee in Islamabad GPO in less than 10 minutes, there was no throng.
My car model is Cultus/2003 so total tax i paid is 348 rupees only.

I have a 2012 regd vitz(bought from a friend right after he applied for reg) whose reg book was received in dec12. So this will be the first time token that I will be oaying in post office. As I understand from your post I will also have to get it re stamped from eto? If so what is the process?

If you are in Pindi, I do not know. But if it is Islamabad ETO it is first counter on the right corner just before the entrance. It does not take much time, just a couple of minutes usually to get the reg restamped.

Need some help i have two cars honda city 11 model and vitz which i bought last year i paid token tax of both vehicles at post office near my house in johar town lahore but today i visited that post office to pay my next year token the person their said u can only pay ur Honda city car's token here for vitz you have to go to farid kot mazang for the payment of token tax. Whats the matter is their any change in legislation ?

Went there in morning but there was long que. Went again at 230 only 2 people in que.

Go to ETO Islamabad office in F-8 Markaz. You can pay the tax at GPO Melody and in I-10 PO, but you can also try a nearest one in your area saying I have moved to this area, your address on CNIC might help with the closest PO in your area.

Went to Gpo G6 melody market.. after waiting for my turn the guy went for Lunch Break just moments before my turn.. and things are equally worse at old citizens counter how they treat people there they should be ashamed.. and yes had to get the book re stamped so token not payed

I think your vitz is 1000cc so it will come under life time token Scheme . Go to ETO office for the payment of life time token which is now 17500 PKR minus the amount you have paid in the past.
