The engine model written on the plate attached on engine bay shows my engine is CB51, but the engine of car was changed by its last owner, this is non turbo carbureted engine, can anyone please guide me where I can see the engine model number, I can only find the engine number and only "CB" written on the cylinder just above the gearbox assembly.

Missed this point your case looks like wornout rocker arm

What is rocker arm? is that tappet? the car has sound of chan chan, a bit high tappet sound, the mechanic says that it is normal sound of Charade engine which will never go.

Ap ka mechanic gada hai yes rocker arm are tappet the problem with charade is it has very similar rocker exhaust one is slight longer but the difference is very minor mechanic put exhaust rocker in intake and vise versa which wear them out quickly

I will send the picture tomorrow, the engine is never opened, its kabli and was recently replaced by the last owner, the pick of car is perfect

The engine sound is still bearable (I have done the sound deadening behind dashboard and it has reduced to a good extent), but main issue is rough idling and vibrations in the body, please tell me how to get rid of it?

Thanks all for your help, I have changed the coil alongwith resistance(haddi), now car is stable and pick has increased.

Visit Chah-e-Sultan and find a small street opposite to Shell petrol pump (glass factory chowk) named Chor bazar. Try finding a dead G10 and sourcing parts from it.

This model is very very rare and finding any part is almost next to impossible.

Kharadia may be of help only if you have original drawings available.

And the issue seems valid for all G10's around. Mine used to have the issue too, and I used to live with it (operating only driver side wiper). Saw another one in my sector having the same trouble.

One desi juggar way you may want to explore is adding relay in motor circuit. Do discuss it with electrician to find if can be tried...

Driving with only driver side wiper is not a good idea because when you turn left, you're blinded until your turn is complete or you could end up in OPEN GUTTER or worse hit a pedestrian/cyclist :o

I went to the place you mention four times with no luck

Talked to Janjua Autos and he said, "acha try kr k dekhein ge, Fri-Sat-Sunday k ilawa chakar lagao" which means I have to take off from office and still no guarantee it'll resolve.

Someone told me that it could be locally made because it's just the rods, other say that I may import it from Indonesia, England or Australia but I don't know someone living in these countries and can't trust online purchase.

i recently got my g 11s engine overhauled by taj autos at gizri. its been 9 months and shes running like new ma sh ALLAH. good feul avg as well. Got a brand new radiator as well with the original 28 yr old ac serviced and back to action..... when they say this lil wonder is a legend .. they mean it...

First check if the motor is doing it's job fine. And explore the relay option as well. I don't think those rods are at fault.

If you need changing the rods in any case, try getting a manual and finding the exact dimensions required. Kharadia can make it. Importing may not be possible, as even in those countries, parts of this model may be non existent.
