@Xulfiqar @Vaqas1 @brownrose78 @helper_learner meri gari k ecu say speed ki wire cut hui v ha yesterday i was traveling on motorway suddenly check engine light pop-up after doing that diagnosis test i came to know that there is a error of 41 which is for speed signal in between 2000.to.3000 rpm. Today i tried to connect that spd from ecu but failed to connect. My question is k spd ki pinout jo ecu say aa rhi ha it has 12V yeah kdr ko lgaoun ? Should i connect it with speed sensor 12V
in toyota system - the hall effect speed sensor first goes to gauge panel, then to ecu. You have to connect that wire there. The spd or spd1 pin has 12V bias voltage which is pulled to ground in pulses - the frequency of the pulses is how the ecu knows what speed the car is travelling.
Again a question what will b that place in cluster where i have to connect this wire from ECU sorry for asking maybe a irritating question but it will help me to get rid of the code 41
look for famous Violet/white wire in grip.......thats SPD
The grip which is for to connect with the speedometer? There are 3 grips with engine wiring 2 are for ecu and one is for speedometer
speedometer grip offcourse going into speedo....it goes from speedo to ecu . look for this wire
Sir there are two grips for ecu in harness and one is for cluster the thrid grip for ecu is not with this harness so for FC and Battery i have made some arrangements there. The spd pinout is in that third grip which has around 22 pins. My question is if i attach a wire from the thrid drip of ECU one side with spd pin out where should its other wire attach in cluster .
ECU SPD PIN To CLUSTER SPD PIN....
as i said look for that color wire in cluster grip 1st and locate it....else you need to find the point on meter(your meter should be of model which had this SPD signal option..i.e EFi model
Use this website to search for part numbers.
Thanks but as have swapped from 2E to 5afe mine body frame will b different it wouldn't help me
Doesn't matter if you are search for engine stuff. Search in AE100.
few are compatiable while oithers not
find one for 4AFE/5AFE/7AFE and it will worrk fine....
Ser this is what that i have done today .traced that wire in cluster grip its at 4th then try search its other edge but fail to find that so decided to ad an extra wire from cluster to ECU pin which is for SPD .have jumped it with the wire as u told violet/white .
Attached here added wire with this speedometer wire in grip now it gives pulse to the ECU when i switch they key for ignition it shows on multimeter battery voltage after that jaisy jaisy gari chelti ha es k voltages with speed change hoty rehty hain @Hassan1991 bhae told me its pulse from cluster to ECU
