Audi A4 oil consumption

AOA I am planning to buy a audi a4. I saw the owner's review of audi a4 2016 on pakwheels youtube channel and the owner of the a4 2016 said that it consume oil more and he has to carry engine oil for topup so i want to know that this problem is also in a4 2017 ? If not then I'll buy 2017 model but if the same problem continues in 2017 model then I'll go for 2016 model. Please answer and thenk you all.

Oil consumption 1litre per 1000 km is normal in new high compression engines.....so to topup is normal in such cars

I think if we extend it to actual proven life of toyota engines - the oil recommendation will go to 60W100 then to something like 600 weight oil aka NLGI 00 grease, then in the end close to 500,000 kms - the recommendation would be to mix 2.5 kg grease and about a litre of kerosene.

The prophecy will be fulfilled.

best is when you ask such morons if they know the concept that the engine oil has a job that is called "thermal exchange" - or in more simple words, "cooling" which is reliant on flow of it - it wont flow if it looks like mollases.

"I ve called suzuki 3s for oil change but its close however service manager said that a team recently visited and they strictly asked not to pour oil of less viscosity than 10w40. Now they are not willing to pour even 5w30, what to do"

Yes, you are right, only in civilized countries...
In case of warranty claim, paksuzuki has complete history of periodic maintenance, no need of receipts.
And if any oil is used other than suzuki geniune and their specified grade (which is wrong in above scenario) your warranty is void

Any grade or oil other than mentioned voids warranty
(There is no 0w20 or even 5w30 for alto, meanwhile 0w20 is recommended by suzuki Japan)
0w20 is mentioned for cultus and wagonr, but one has to ask or insist everytime, otherwise they gonna pour 10w40 carelessly

For the sake of warranty, one is restricted to suzuki/toyota/honda geniune oil
Considering the suzuki geniune oils mentioned above in circular, all are manufactured by total and all are API certified
