I agree. Already I have been 'moderated', and I'm the one who has been cursed personally by those fools arguing over a "thick oil thin oil" thing. I didn't use any uncivilised language.
From now onwards I will keep my mouth shut and not indulge in any sincere effort to educate some fools.
I do not claim to be an expert in automotives but yes I do use my sense of understanding. I knew a tiny little bit about automotives, however I was also following wrong procedures and I encountered issues with CVT transmission of my car which you and @rajaatta Raja Atta helped me resolve. Recently an overfuelling issue in my car was rectified with help from sensible ones on this forum. What did I get? My transmission was saved? my fuel consumption is back to normal? Yes certainly I got those issues solved but what I value the most is the knowledge I gained, I learnt about fuel trims, correct procedures, how things are interconnected in a context and the importance of keeping mind open for acceptance of correctness. For me, that is important.
Sometimes I do start threads like "Has anyone used cooking oil in engine" but they are just for clarifying concepts for many other fellow members (of course I don't expect myself or fellow members to use cooking oil in engine as a regular practice) or stuff like asking about gears in an aircraft, the kind of engine oil they use etc... I deliberately present few of my threads and comments appearing as dumb, only so that they can generate a discussion for benefit and correctness. (Even though such threads have been 'moderated')
I have noted your suggestion and will not mingle/argue with any fool. Their worn out engines and bricked ECUs are their punishments
