Help me make a purchase decision between Manual and AGS Transmission

I'm planning to buy a car for my wife within a budget of 2.8 million PKR. She's currently driving a Mira (CVT) occasionally and has prior experience driving a manual Cultus. I have narrowed down my options to Alto AGS or Cultus VXL (not older than 2021).

I personally prefer the drive of Cultus over Alto AGS, but I'm unsure whether to go for a manual transmission or opt for AGS for her daily office commute. Considering ease of use and reliability, what would you recommend?

I have read AGS tend to give trouble after 30,000 km or so. AGS is basically a manual transmission with a mechanism that presses the clutch and changes the gear for you. Sort of like a robot. Too many components to go wrong.

Suzuki Alto AGS Gear Box Issue

Hey all, I want to buy a new Alto AGS for family usage. I have heard news that Alto AGS has Transmission issues where the Clutch Plate gets destroyed and it has to be replaced. I have read multiple threads and getting mixed feedback. I wanna ask the community about their reviews and share knowledge of any such issue with the car itself.

There are much on Maruti AGS as well.

So advise you not to purchase the AGS version of this car, If you absolutely don't want a manual car then go for CVT or automatic car.
