HID's....If You Need Something To Brighten The WHOLE Surrounding But Not The Exact Path And Definitely Blind The Opposing Side DRIVERS On Road....!!

HID's are not exactly to blame, with proper application HID's have brilliant results. Use a 4300k HID with an applicable projector or with a compatible reflector housing and you'll notice how much sharper the cutoff is and the beam is well spread. However, people here use HID's in their Halogen Reflector Housings and Halogen Projectors, this is where things go wrong and HID's get a bad name.

Apart from this, the garbage Ballasts and Bulbs available in the local market are pathetic. Big names like Hella, Mitsubishi, Osram etc make one of the best Ballasts and Bulbs around the globe, manufacturers like BMW, Honda, Toyota, Subaru use these HID's as stock, these are far superior to the Chinese crap and come for a good price tag, but then quality comes for a good price tag too

my question still remain unanswered.... As you said that i need H4s for my stock head light so my question is again that the H4 you are referring means they are 4300K??? Plus my stock halogens aren't H4 or what? and the yellow colour of my stock bulbs is 3000K or is it 4300k?

H4 is a bulb type, your car (Mira) has an H4 type bulb in it's reflector housing. Your stock bulbs are H4 as well. This has got nothing to do with color temperature. A stock Halogen should be around 3000-3600k if I'm not wrong, it's not 4300k for sure.

bros plz help me regarding Honda City 2011 head lamps, i am actually not satisfied with the amount of light, so planned HID but someone told me its not got and thigs would get even worse if it isnt projector, so planned to go for better Halogen lamps, i was planning to get Phillips Xtreme Vision H4 lights from Uk, it is costing me around £ 30, so kindly tell would that fit in honda city 2011 or do i need to get some other one, and will it greatly improve the vision?? and plz guide me on Fog lamps too, can i have 6500k - 8000k HIDs in Fog Lamps?

Good move, HID would have been a whole other problem for you. If you can get the Philips X-treme Vision then that's great, really good bulbs and have a long life as well. H4 will be the bulb type that will fit in your City 2011. Vision will be improved, however, since your car is almost new, why is it that you aren't satisfied with the amount of light? Stock lights on the City perform well if you ask me.

For fog lamps go for 3000k Halogens, Luminics and Nokiya are good brands for this. If you want then you can even get 3000k HID but I'd suggest stick to Halogens.

thankyou so much brother and yup i think this is going to go ok , lets hope for the best, well u tht "shashka thing" and then it was possible to lay hands on one so decided to have them and get them changed.

Your foglight housings are reflector based so if you install HID in them then no matter how low they are focused they will produce glare, same principle that applies on headlights.

I'll say get Yellow Halogens for the fogs, if not then yeah you can go for 3000k HID.

Xtreme Vision will give you a neutral shade.

Try getting your hands on HID kits made by Osram, Hella, Philips (genuine not the chinese copy), Mitsubishi, those are best.

Philips xtreme vision lasted only 3 months in my city, they are not that reliable imo... But i am still offcourse in favour that one should get better halogen bulbs or should invest in a hid conversion kit like: Bi-xenon FX-R Stage IV Kit - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc..

In my civic, i am using 4300k morimoto bulbs with 35w morimoto ballasts in the low beams and sylvania silverstar ultra in the high beams.. The low-beam cutoff is not good, but better than many generic hid kits + it causes no glare !!
