Alhamdulillah I am a very satisfied and happy owner of an AWD Sportage. By the grace of Allah Almighty it's doing well. Also I'm satisfied with the customer care of KIA Motors Potohar. They are so open that they even themselves shared the KLM head office's relevant contact once I suggested them an improvement.
The feedback of a genuine owner is very valuable. It is requested to share first hand experience alongwith videos/ photos. Also the handling of the matter by the particular dealership and the final action taken must be shared. Please donot generalise the issues by sweeping statements on hearsay episodes.

I humbly disagree to the opinion that Tucson is superior in looks. Firstly, liking of looks of a particular car is a personal choice. However, to me the unique shape & tigernose front of Sportage is very appealing. On the contrary, the exterior of Tucson is stereotype with the front inspired of Audi.

Facts, first hand issues with pictures and videos are available on the group. You can have a look. I’m happy you don’t have issues but that doesn’t mean others don’t and you don’t have to educate yourself for future potential issues

The level of discussion and reporting on Civic I personally did here on this forum and other platforms, everyone knows about it.. and you know what back then I was declared as propaganda against Honda. Lol.. fast forward today, problems are still there and I am still looking for all those who were labeling me as paid agent.

So, its not KIA HYUNDAI, anything with the issue is reported here regardless of make and model.

Follow Pakwheels social media groups and you will can explore evey other model being discussed with problems.

Horrifying to read about difficulty in getting warranty claims from dealerships. For new entrants, this is a bad business practice. Not to say, Honda is any better (haven't experienced Toyota yet).
I remember when my 8th gen civic engine mount failed. There was a recall and I took my car to Honda Avenue. They declined to replace it for free, with the excuse that the chassis number was not on the list. I wrote an angry email to Honda Atlas, two days later, received a call from the same dealership to visit and get it changed free of cost.

I dont see a wide gap between variants.. maybe the base version is also above 5.2 Million.

As per available info beside fit and finish problems , no reported case of evaporator/ steering rack issue [ 2019/2020 ] Will check and update if I get any news

I doubt the 6 million + figure and hope it's not true. There's no point of a locally assembled car being priced away from the main competitor. It'd be like what rush was to brv, only that rush was a cbu so it was nothing lost nothing gained for Indus, Tucson is first proper local assembled passenger vehicle for nishat and would be quite the fuck up if they don't get the pricing right.

Looks like Kia/Lucky is hell bent on looting customers in one way or another. First, they aren't fixing problem of car leaning to the left. Or one has to do a lot of khwari to convince them. Now, they appear to be charging 37,000 Rupees for 20k km service. And forcing people to "clean" catalaytic converters at 10k, 20k km! This catalytic cleaning gimmick is a new one I must say. high maintenance cost to maintain warranty is a serious issue which need attention of KIA/KLM. I have already decided like many others to even forego warranty after free inspections are over , i am not convinced to pay extra to KLM for not only parts cost but also maitnenance/ inspection cost

To be fair we should be grateful that someone is making such an effort, gathering data, connecting with owners, highlighting the issue and following up. Otherwise its just a chaos of opinions and voices which rarely make sense.

Tucson is much better looking where sportage is worst loooking, by front. Interior of sportage is much better than tucson..... Tucson looks little bigger than sportage but in a bad manner like a big dabba from sides.. And back of tucson is really old style n not appealing... No one would buy tucson if tjey price it even little more than sportage.. Its really a tough decision for me choose one of them.. But i think i m gonna have to decide by seeing them side by side to get to a decision

Maybe Nishat Group has actually set "loss"as goal for Hyundai.

A business group can benefit from that too. Depends on what are the goals, maybe they want to push out Japanese investor by buying their stake at throw away price. They have track record of such financial maneuvers i.e. Adamjee Insurance hostile takeover.

Otherwise they dont make any sense.
