Is there any Internet problem in Pakistan ? I heard someone saying that there is an issue with underground cables in Karachi so the whole pakistan is effected, I cant even connect through PTCL Broadband.

sir there is nothing wrong in torrents. wrong is when u download pirated software.

torrent != piracy

Just called 1218 and they have put a recording Regarding issues with slow browsing and downloading . They have mentioned that there is a Problem with an Underground Submarine Cable there fore the sluggish internet .

Hmm i did the changes to utorrent as well & its working ok i was able to download abt 2 Gb in last 12 hrs ( slow & steady )

Utorrent workaround

Options->Pref->BitTorrent

Uncheck all except
Enable UDP tracker support
And
Ask tracker for scrape info
And change protocol encryption to "forced" and keep the check mark on "allow incoming legacy connections"

It's a workaround. U won't get the speed u used to get but will manage to get 70-80% of it.
