Charade came in four basic body versions:
1. 5 door hatchback (Called CS or standard one without any CS marking etc)
2. 3 door hatchback (called TS)
3. 3 door hatchback with highroof (called TX)
3. 5 door Hatchback with highroof (called CX)
All the above versions came with all four types of engine
1. CB23 NA petrol engine
2. CB60 turbo carburatted engine
3. Diesel engine Non turbo
4. Turbo diesel engine
Cars with diesel engine are called G20 either turbo or non turbo 3 Door or 4 door, and car with petrol engine either turbo or non turbo are called G11 either 3 door or 4 door.

Now the Detomaso issue:
Only the 2 body version i.e. Three door (TS), non-high roof version with CB60 turbo engine was modified by an italian motor car designer "Detomaso" ( De Tomaso Modena S.p.a. ) for japanese demostic market (JDM). It included body kit, makeover of the dashboard with detomaso logo, custom red and black seats with detomaso logo, roof and tail gate spoiler, rear piller moulding with logo, larger and lowered bumper, lowered suspension, rear strut bars for better handling on turns at high speed. Custom grill again with logo, side black vinyl stripe with TURBO written on door. It came in three colours,
- red n black
- grey and black
3 white and black
in 1986, bianca detomaso also came in white and silver.
