The Car pics are taken at nite with cellphone so there is a lot of noise in the pic. Fol is visible:
1. Interior including seats has been re-done. Door inner panels and dashboard have been painted yellow. Can't judge what's beneath the paint.
2. Bumpers are not original. Grill is custom made, sideskirts are also made similar to the GTti one but not original. May be its a GTti but the original one were lost. If the bumpers were custom made, do the owner has the original bumpers.Ask him (They cost a lot)
3. Exterior is all repaint. Bonnet and mud guards are modified.
4. Engine is swaped.

This is what all i can see from the pics, what i cant see is the suspension, axles, brakes, steering rack, floors, and behaviour during a test drive.

It is very difficult to bring such modified car back to its original form. The way i like cars to be but may be it suits somebody else. Payment we make for a car has 2 parts, Major part is the actual value of the car and a little percentage of it for the love (crush, i would call it) at first sight for that car. So value is in my opinion is 250k max, now you have to decide the value of the love you have for this car and add it to it. Then no regrets, when ppl will remark, 'yar mangi liti ai'. Because they dont value your love for this car.

Go through the unwritten checklist for buying used car and drive it thoroughly, check hard braking and quick acceleration, Drive it with engine warmed up to NOT. Judge steering response and how it coasts in neutral. Dont only drive on jail road, test it on some road with usual potholes and hear the body noises if any and lot many things like that.

My rule for buying used car is that i prefer good body over the engine. Engine u can b thrown away and put in new, But body parts 1st u cant find and some are difficult to replace. E.g. The front bumper of GTti cost 20K, grill 5K, rear bumper more than 10k, Original GTti speedo for 10k and u will be lucky if u find these things from a wreaker.

I got good connections at Rang Pur Bhagoor (wet land).Khushab is open this year & pocherds & Pin tails comes at Rang Pur Bhagoor (Dist Khushab) wet land in thousands...m.Sialvi is also a friend Pak wheeler near sargodha & is also a keen hunter & a very good friend of mine.

Kallar kahar is also open for hunting this year & there are lots of teetars there.Sialvi had good score this season there.

Thanks mate, i downloaded the same manual and it describes all the three engines in great detail. Most interesting part is the emission control system where it shows which vacuum pipe goes where. I had a lot of trouble when a mechanic while removing the oil filter removed a few pipes and not only that, while trying to put them back he disturbed the entire setup and turbo engine as a whole bunch of these pipe. Now its like a breeze for me.

WhenI got my car, the EGR system was totally disconnected and the points were left open. Only the intake and Carburetor points were plugged and that too, very poorly. The engine was done very poorly when I got it and the rings broke 6 months after I got it.

I had the engine rebuilt and then the whole system was messed up. The engine would not idle properly ever! When I got hold of the workshop manual, I painstakingly understood the system and then bought new pipes, Tee's and crosses. The one way valves were with me luckily. Got it back to it's former glory. The fuel avg increased and the engine became smooth.

Newys need to ask U somethng actually i own a 07 honda city n nw its 60K driven..... well on its last oil n filter change @57K the honda ppl ask me to tune it via laptop i.e connecting its ecu n tuining it.... I need to ask u that shud i go 4 that tuining n wat is dat tuining or shud i jus change its spark plugs,oil,air,fuel filters n stuff??

Bro if ur not having any major issues with ur City, then there is no need for computer tuning as the settings are already fed into the ECU. they would probably charge you in excess of Rs 1500 just to connect it to a computer. I say don't do it.

ECU is like brain of electronically controlled cars and the chip adjust the fuel, air and ignitoin according to the driving conditions. ECU get data from various sensors located at different places in the car engine. Check out Engine control unit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Honda ppl assemble this engine in Pakistan, tune it and sends it in ur car to u. ECU diagonostic is only possible through computer connected. If he is recommending Checking ECU, no big deal. Its like renewing your cellphone software. and maybe one day we see ppl sitting on footpath with laptops tuning car ECUs

i 've not friddled ECU of my other car since i bought it 3 years back. So 2007 city dont require it so quickly. But its an aid that helps the tuner to look and monitor the at the performance of the car after changing plugs etc. If they are asking extra bucks for that than its your choice but he will be able to optimize the car performance with it

CNG cannot be installed in turbo engine as turbo increases the air entering the engine according to the RPM of the engine, this distrubs the Gas & air mixture. So mechinacs disconnects the turbo, and make the car breath air normally by connecting the air filter directly to the carburator.

Post me a few pics of engine bay of your car and i will be able to guide you.

If its a CB60, the one in my car, or with grey color (CB61), it can be made turbo active again by changing the pipe setup, but u have to sacrifice the CNG. My Charade runs 14-15 km in a litre, but its a joy to drive it with this little turbo engine. and is quite economical.

Post me pics of your engine. May be u need to replace the turbo too as it might be full of dust and stuck up as its not in use ever since CNG was installed in your car
