Thanks for coming to this thread as well. SJ410 was a wonderful experience too.

I have two different mechanics for LJ78 (aka Land cruiser II). Ustad Imran ( for more of some technical work) as he charge a bit higher than everyone else. Otherwise his brother and Nephew (Fahad).

Both of them are located in Sadar along with railway line towards Marir Choak. if One is located on left side than other is running workshop on opposite side of the track.No matter its your left or mine

gentelmen, am thinking to purchase rkr 89 model modified to 2018, please advise me is it ok for beginner, engine is hz4200 i think, suspension front spring rear kamani. wil it be comfortable for long drive occasionally, how much maintenace time is required( due to my job i cannot spare much time)

best to stay away from old vehicles if you don't have time to spend on them. Once a month is a given.
Another strategy is to go to a reliable mechanic who offers pick and drop for a little extra cash, and keep him on your speed dial, that costs money but saves time.
Which city are you in? If this is the same beige vehicle, my guess is that you are in islamabad and the said vehicle is for 2 mil?

he asking for 23, but can negotiate. thesr another at eahim yar khan he asking 30 ( way too much but it has front spring suspension and complete modified including engine interior). i was thinking if jeep has altogether new engine it will not give problem?

the jeep has 1hz, 4200cc most probably out of an 80 series land cruiser of the 90s, so no its not new.
This is a built/modified jeep, it will require a proper physical analysis to know what he has actually done to it. I would not advice this to someone who doesn't have time to visit workshops, and leaf springs(aka kamanis) are never comfortable

Original lighter wasnt giving enough power to run 36L portable Cooler/fridge. Therefore, I had to get direct power from both batteries. Plus the lighter have to be at the back of the vehicle cuz fridge stays close to rear door. Hence, i have installed two points next to rear doors

Had slight play in 4x4 engaging ring or whatever its called. Got it fixed and topped it up with 2.5 ltr new Toyota oil GL-5 oil
