with due respect to everyone.

i was lured by a closed friend to test use ADDINOL products the brand mentioned in #2474 at promotional price. after about total of under 10,000 km usage i find the brand seriously non-trustworthy / compromised. (experiment failed miserably, had to spend premium fortune to stay out of trouble)

the ATF CVT in a 2018 JDM Carry Mini Van we drained it after 2000 kms because vehicle was too sluggish and engine whine too much before smooth momentum fuel avg dropped significantly - shifted to AISIN CVT Fluid problem of fuel consumption & momentum gain resolved.

in 2 of my rides pouring 5W30 ADDINOL was biggest mistake ever. morning start & idling at cold engine was rough and trouble some. changed 1 engine oil after 2300 kms with filter. Now running over HX7 5w-30 problem vanished just after engine oil change without a visit to mechanic. Friday last Addinol engine oil was flushed out from random ride which had only 4000 km run in 4 months. HX-7 is refreshed with filter change.

lesson learned - stick to trusted brand only

I recently bought a Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3 automatic. The current mileage is 130800 km. I am unsure what grade I should use for the mobi oil and which is the best for my car. Before my purchase, it was being maintained by Toyota Jinnah Motors. As the maintenance by the showroom is quite expensive. I am looking for the best options for my car.

5w-30 Shell Helix or Havoline.
buy only from trusted known lube shops

Thanks for the review, I was about to switch to their 10w-40 oil from total 10w-40, guess I'll switch to shell too, the only problem is there are way to many copies of shell even more than total copies, also is zic also a bad oil in your opinion?

Total is the company which used to manufacture oil for Honda which they sold as Honda Genuine Oil (HGO)
So Total Quartz 9000 is identical to HGO.

please use engine oil 5W-30 from trusted lube shop only. VITZ 2018 have CVT Transmission, the fluid change is recommended at 75000 kms. Toyota CVTF may be expensive so choose any other brand carefully.

It's API SP ILSAC GF-6A now btw and packed by total parco Pakistan limited.

Guys I've been using zic m9 10w40 for my Yamaha ybz for the last couple of years. Unfortunately I'm unable to get it anywhere this time, I've tried zic's website, daraz store and filter house but they don't have it. Can anyone suggest an equivalent oil that I can find in lahore?

this nothing but waste of your money. Refer to your bike manual or google online. Oil change interval for bike engine type sir.
