My pleasure. Its yours & placed in a safe place in his shop for U. Yesterday I received a call from Saad Ifitikhar my old colleague and x owner of Ur moggie, I didnt knew that he had Morris 2 :), small world!

New stuff arrived from ESM, rear lights plastic quality is out of this world, I thought twice to either install it or not:-!. Will post the pictures!

I did buy the moggie from Saad but he didnt own her for long, she was with him for hardly a month or two before he decided to part. It was long deared by an old gentelman some where in I/8 Sector

Yup, you are right, Saad didnt owned her for long. The old man's son bought few parts for his father from UK including those lightlashes and tuned her up. Ramzan told me that the old owner had a container specifically to park his Moggie.

What is the condition of seats? specifically the front stock 1s

Seats: The ones in the cabin are Japs - but I was handed over a pair of stock by Saad- the rear is of course stock

I also go a carton of spares but never had a chance to explore what was inside - had to catch a flight within hours from receiving the Moggie - and my wife was feeling a bit neglected with my attention being diverted to Moggie just when I was about to leave - so I didnt pay much attention to the parts - you know what I mean?

On my next visit to Isloo (inshallah early March 2010) I would like to fix the brakes before I pay attention to other bits and bobs. For those wondering what goes inside the pressure sleeve on a moggie master clyinder - this one is for them - Chao!

@RazaSyed, my apologies for the delayed response, I was away due to cough, throat n chest infection, fever etc. etc.

I think its great idea to post the Technical Tips & Details on this thread. initial part of the thread is focused on restoring body, paint & interior and later part on engine, gear, brakes etc. which I didnt covered in detail in the previous pages.

It was a good experience, it had some 40 year old sticky grease and I took atleast a liter patrol to get rid of the same. It looked simpler once I started working on it but it had very small bits n pieces and I asked Ramzan for help on assembling it back together.

Indeed the sun visers were missing. mine has them but need some attention to ged rid of 48 years of dirt. Do let me know how the engine is reacting to the air cleaner once installed

I was impressed by way Wasif revived the indicator lamp lids on his A-30. He actually painted the outer - the result was a high gloss finish as good as new. Need to learn that from him
