Exactly the reason paksuzuki is known for typo blunders and just carry forwarded old model figures.

What about the auto transmission oil? Usually its either automatic or for CVT but since this isnt exactly auto what does PakSuzuki recommends interms of gear oil and when to get it changed for the first time after break in period?

Manual gear.oil. actuator on top of transmission dont need oil. Whatever you pour in manual tranny goes into this.

Anyone who booked alto before 15th june is asked tp pay extra for. FED? I know one person who booked the car from Macca motors Khi before launvh date, now being asked to pay extra for FED.

Mehran CAN NOT be i repeat CAN NOT be compared to new alto, do you want to know why?

Mehran was second generation the god damn car has rear leaf spring suspension for crying out loud.

Suzuki since Second gen mehran has come A LOOOOONG way. Stop the non-sense. No one in the right mind would compare a 2019 10th gen civic with 1995 5th gen civic. Thats just plain stupid and lack of schooling.

You can only compare a current market car with another NON-obsolete current market car.

I compare the new PKDM alto 660cc with any JDM being imported fraudulently into pakistan whiich has a 660cc engine OR a new 1000cc cultus or a wagon R. Majorly because many people have sat into a WAGON R or a NEW cultus and i USE that as a benchmark to tell how good or bad is the new alto.

The local Alto can not be compared with Japanese KEI cars as the later have very good built quality whereas the quality of this car is not upto the mark. A bit better when compared to Mehran but definitely nothing in front of JDMs. The Japanese cars were not imported fraudulently its just like you bought your Alto from another man who was the first owner of this car and who booked the car on his CNIC. Now technically you bought this car as a used car being second owner.

Secondly the engine horsepower of PKDM Alto is 38 hp as per official stats of Pak Suzuki. Same is the engine power of Mehran, so yes its competitor to Mehran which it has replaced. This Alto engine can not be compared with Japanese Alto engine which is a lot more powerful.

Let's be realistic, we are taking about Pakistani automobile market, the Mehran is not obsolete. Its the most seen car on our roads.

I think this is where we should stop fighting about dont compare this to that and stop with offensive remarks. Everyone has a right to speak and compare here so let's just discuss things instead of justifying this is not that. i have booked on 18th april and had made full payment 1295 along with fed not yet received the car however if someone can guide fed was due on me or not i have another same type of handwritten recipt which dealer has given after full payment on 20th june

Can someone guide...if local alto is euro 2 or 3...has it cat converter...what about jdm ....does jdm has cat converter...does jdm alto consumes 300 to 500ml oil in 5k km oil change interval once it Odo crosses 70000

I suspect that Suzuki technical staff put 10W40 oil in my car (alto vxr). I am not getting more than 22 Kmpl be it with or without AC. Will it be fine to put 5W30 during next oil change?

Ofcourse. Mine has 10w40 too i think lol. You never know. Ill be getting first oil change at 3000km. Will always get 5w30 for this engine. Its a tiny precise engine no need for a thicker oil.

And dont be too impatient about fuel avg it will get better after first oil change. The new engine needs little time. Also make sure you change gear oil on first 5k service. Its a necessary task.
