So another update with the car.

We changed the steering rack to one that has progressive power steering functionality. We had already ordered an ECU for it from Japan along with a combination switch which has an automatic mode for the lights. I'm on the search for the correct solar sensor unit for them to work properly.

A couple of controllers came in from Canada, speed signal converter and multiplex commander, along with Canadian spec sun visors that had vanity mirrors in them.

We also sorted out the dash wiring for the items that we added along with added a signal from key switch which has enabled the key forget warning. Lastly also installed the paddle shifters that we had ordered.

Mouth watering ...D: , how did you get the paddle shifters to work??? Are they working on stock Ecu? Or any mods done.

Can you give any explanation on how you wired them? Since it’s not a factory option, I’m a bit confused.

It was a factory option in the engine I chose.The ecu had pins for shift up and shift down inbuilt. So we utilized those

An update after a long time. I made a stainless steel exhaust in 3 inch. I'm still on the search for a good 3" muffler for the rear and an electric exhaust cutout valve. Also got a wideband gauge that has been installed. Enjoy the pictures.

One question: I thought you had decided to go with a 2..5 inch back exhaust earlier. What made you decide to increase to 3 inch?

I now plan to increase the power output of the car. For that I'm putting in things that will be able to safely and reliably handle that power output.

The 3" exhaust is installed according to the same philosophy, I've also installed an AEM 320lph fuel pump and more items are being gathered for the project.

So after a very long time, another update for the car. The car has been running smoothly as my daily and Allhamdulillah hasn't had any major problems. Now the more power bug is biting me pretty bad so I had to do something about it.

I've been collecting parts for it from Japan, US and Canada that are now all going to in the car in the next week or so.

From Japan I got these jzx81 door lights.

Along with these jdm fender lights and their respective parking lights

From the US I got this 2 way remote starter kit

Lastly for the engine I got the ECU Master DET3 that a dear friend of mine sent from Canada.

For the DET3 I'm making a patch harness so that I dont have to mess with the factory engine harness and be able to easily modify it later on.

I'm currenty waiting on some more parts from Japan. An update will be done when they arrive aswell.

Thanks for the kind words.

I had planned to do a big update by this time but got busy in other stuff. For now the patch harness for the DET3 and the remote starter has been made. Made the patch harness to not tinker with the factory harness and to make future wiring jobs easier if I ever go to a standalone.

The DET3 is in and I'm now starting to learn how to tune the car.

Along with this, I had to change the radiator as it got punctured and the alternator as it was giving signs of failure. Used this chance to change the valve cover gaskets which had leaked and also did an overall cleanup of the engine. Along with that painted the valve covers and the coil cover. All the lettering has been handpainted, in these pictures I had only done the "TURBO' to see how it looked.
