Ramadan Mubarak to all!

The recent upgrades to the car have been done and she's all closed up for now.

Installed the gear surround switches

The PWR button when pressed puts the ECU into 'Power Mode' and also switches to a power map on the DET3.
The 'TRC OFF' switch is mapped to the DET3's launch control, so when ever this is pressed, launch control engages.
'MANU' has been left for the valved exhaust, whenever I get to acquire and install that.

The 'PWR' button is mapped to the 'ECT PWR' light on the cluster and the TRC OFF button to the 'TRC OFF' light.

Also installed JDM fender lights

Along with this, Auto lights and cornering lights were also wired up. The Auto lights turn on whenever the sun goes down, and the cornering lights come up when the headlights are on and any side indicator is engaged. The video demostrates this:

Also, was testing out different settings of the launch control on the DET3, this is currently where it's at. Still refining.

Also got a torsen LSD for it, that will be going in this weekend hopefully, along with a complete new rear axle that has larger brakes and a 3.909 final ratio.

So another update, the torsen will be going in the car tomorrow In Sha Allah, if every thing goes to plan. The torsen I got was from an Altezza RS200, as these are essentially bolt on for the solid axle diff in the Cressida. Here are some pictures of the torsen:

So the torsen is in. Had ordered a dial gauge just for this so that we could set the backlash perfectly. The torsen was bolt on and required a bigger size bearing, a little of googling and got the part number for that aswell. Another thing that went in was an electronic boost control solenoid which is controlled by the DET3. On the normal map the boost is set at wastegate pressure which is around 8 psi, and on power mode it is increased to 13 psi.

is it me or the cluster is tilted towards left a bit?

I wanted to get a jzx cluster that was compatible with the engine and not have to design controllers for the signals, so the jzx100 cluster was the best choice.
As it is of a 97 jzx100, the shape is different and curves down more than the stock one on the top left.

Another update is coming soon on the car. I got a big brake kit, calipers and rotors for it that will be revealed soon. I'm also on the hunt for coilovers for this that if anyone has any leads let me know. For now enjoy the latest pictures

Hahaha, well my patience is also being tested here, I'm waiting on finding a good set of rims and a few parts to roll out the next update, I've acquired all the parts just need to rebuild them to be absolutely sure.

So an update after a long time!!! Covid really messed up my plan for this update. I was planning of showcasing multiple things in this update but could only manage to successfully do one.

I found a set of wheels that I really wanted for the car.
These are SSR Vienna Dish,
This is a staggered set, 17x7.5j upfront and 17x8j in the rear
