Sir, have u tried cupping (Hijama)? It's a sunnah treatment, Muhammad SEWA performed it many times, a few ppl i know have had their back aches etc. treated this way. Sorry for being off-track, just thaught it might help.

the red spitfire paint seems that it was not cured properly. The BMW paint to be blistering like that is very unheard of. This is not just simple blistering, it may have the "rustberg" right there.

Red spitfire was painted two years back and it was stored in the back garage since then recently took it out for re assembly and it was perfectly fine before this rain incident and so was this BMW....It was perfectly fine when parked ....say 20/25 days back before this incident of rains....This blistering is right in the middle of bonnet ....Very unlikely place to rust....specially in 10 years old very well kept BMW...I have a corolla 82...KE 70....bought it in 82 brand new ..since then she is with me 250000km on the clock ...engine over hauled by me driven 22000 kms ....and now stored .....caught some rust in 30 years of constant service ...but at typical places.....sides painted once ...but boot and bonnet and of course roof in original paint....no sign of rust at all....so its BMW ....I think more refined machines than toyotas....So its highly unlikely to catch so much rust in 20/25 days causing paint to blister.....

I'm not too old on this forum and have not followed many threads other than some travel ones. But after going through your thread, I must say that your eye for detail is amazing and your project undertaking is special. Keep up the good work, I'll be following it with keen interest.

i cant figure out how rain can cause those blisters, can you please check if there is any sort of oil on your car cover, the dangerous kind is brake oil, that thing can damage paint real bad. lastly if you go for a repaint then pop one of those blisters to show whats underneath, maybe it really is rust, the cars in my family are also very well cared but still they catch rust because a nullah passes close to our home

The only thing that cousses the paint to blister are brake fluid or paint stripper..even if you wipe your hands on a cloth and then touch the paint.. And then left in the sun it will blister...I hope this hasn't happened..

Both rear floor pans are done....a good amount of pics are there to be shared.....Could not find time for last couple of days....Floor pan under the rear seat is being done....I think Rashid Bhai, It is going to Take a year to complete at least ....have already ordered white wall tyres.....Making list for the parts to be ordered From UK....
One more problem....My previous "PAMPERED AND TRUSTED" lolzzzzzz.... mechanic has gone.....looking for a good pair of hands these days....Red spitfire was being worked upon...which is stuck in the middle.....Its engine is placed in my bed room .....Drawing and dining room is also filled with parts (Cant enter ) and so are a couple of stores upstairs .....
I don't know the location of different parts scattered all over the house...NOTHING LOST....Then Rain damage to BMW and a little to spitfire....etc etc....
I Cant figure out from where to start....."stuck" sort of situation is there....

I am thinking about giving it for a repaint in a couple of days.....There was no oil on the cover...let me explain a little...This BMW is in black colour..very bad..Its Black Sapphire Crystal...I don't like black colour in cars but there was no option....Only two 6 cylinder Z3 are known to be in Lahore ...other one is also of the same colour....as you know that black colour is very difficult to maintain ...a little dust on it and its wiped ....small scratches will be there ...if not polished regularly....trying to be "VERY GENTLE" with it...I made a special cover for it From a cloth Called "FALALAIN".....very soft and furry....something like the Yellow clothes we use for cleaning the cars...but quite thick and solid ....Car was covered with that and a plastic sheet over it .....In continues rains and wind ...plastic sheet rolled back to wind screen ...exposing this furry cloth to rain ...which was soaked in rain ...what my home staff did that they kept on covering that thick fuffr smooth but water soaked cloth with that plastic sheet ....which prevented it from drying .....after rain..sunny condition ....that water logged cloth covered with plastic sheet heated but could not dry because of plastic sheet covering...again rain...already damp cloth...again water soaked .....So like this...bonnet remained under water soaked cloth for may be 25/30 days ...resulted in this situation...I will definitely take pics of this bonnet after poping these blisters and share with you brothers here....
Waisay I have imported a lot of Parts for this BMW To refresh it....like brand new original head lights /fog lights ,underfenders shields,Under engine shields ,Fan shrouds ..new front genuine bumper with marker lights ,New auto transmission oil cooler,All parts new and genuine BMW...Even genuine BMW floor mats...Which costed me a fortune.....If I see even a little rust on the bonnet.....Will order a new bonnet as well...:)....Actually this car suits my POOR BACK because of its smooth and springy ride unlike other roadsters...So no other option except to Keep it in pristine condition...Plus it gives a little classic looks which also suits my age......You know....:)...I am in my 50th year now....

Very true dear that brake fluid is a killer for paint and so is the paint stripper....But in this case both these possibilities are ruled out....Perhaps today I will send the car for repainting the bonnet....will popup some blisters,Photograph it and will share here with you brothers ...will also go to our Herald and share updates with you brothers...

Don't get Puzzled/confused brother ....:)...Your conclusion regarding the paint issue seems to be right.......This chemical or bleach thing dried on the paint resulting in blistering .....
Ok....I remember an other victim which is going to prove your point further....Again A BMW....I feel that Paint on these BMW cars is quite sensitive to withstand extreme conditions.....
The story goes like this.....
we handed over this Triumph Herald To Ustaad Zahid ....mmmm...I feel 5/6 days before Eid...After a day or two I also went there to see ,what is going on.....Found a BMW 2008 model 5 series (525 i) almost brand new scratch less in white colour was standing there and apparently it was being polished by painters.....something very normal...So we just had some conversation regarding our project .....
when Coming back to my car ,i just passed That white BMW with Light yellow patches all over the body ....specially on boot ,bonet and roof ...At first sight ,I felt that some light effect...but when saw closely...they were yellow patches ....Painters were trying to remove them with rubbing compound ....but those patches were deep down the base and would not go with rubbing compound .....In this attempt ,they removed paint from some creases .....On inquiry came to know that owners were abroad and the car was parked under cover (not roof ) receiving rain and sun .....The colour of that cover (very fine quality) bled and absorbed in the paint deep and permanently....ruining the beauty.....
It does not make sense.....but I am an eye witness....
a band new BMW worth at least 5 million....damaged ...only solution ....respray....
So I think these cars are "OVER SENSITIVE".....:D...to face some unfavourable circumstances.....:o....
RESULTS....
Please keep your BMW away from SUN AND RAIN UNDER COVER......:$.....

Allow me to imbed a "SHAIR" here....trying to resist but a strong urge to write....

You will have to notice the details of the finished panel I am about to show you Keeping in mind that they are made from 18 gauge steel sheet Which is quite thick to handle with bare hands....But these shapes /curves and contours are made with bare hands and some basic tools like hammer and dolly....not any kind of press.....
