Obliged Talha Bhai...I was reluctant to start this project first....But after seeing my son's liking for this car ....I could not resist .Second factor that we had a same Herald (hard top) for last 49/50 years .... which I dismantled and stored for future restoration.... So a life time with this car...and an opportunity to have it again on the road and in convertible form ...was very tempting and I could not resist....
Going into details is a problem with me .... simple agenda...Do something with precision...or leave it...

Thank you Fahad Bhai for appreciation...work is going on in full swing MASHALLAH ....I am trying to take maximum pics of all details for your viewing pleasure....It will Take at least 6 months to complete this project ....I think..

As I told you that we decided to fabricate whole floor under rear seat from 18 gauge steel sheet in original Patterns....

Now i am going to share ....how we did that...

It all started with this pattern / Farma of Chart paper...which he traced from original floor board...

when Patterns are made in the sheet.....It "SHRINKS"....So a little bigger is better...excess can taken off afterwards....
