it is amazing how quality work of an honest worker shows in his creations and the honesty is reflected on his face as well. this panel beater of yours is an artist and should be cherished as such.

a few years from now, your son might come up on this site and see the amount of love you poured into this car which he might be comprehending right now. hats off to you and ustad ji. love what you guys are doing

Thank you so much Hashim Bhai....This "DETAILING" is the main fun part...This floor will be covered with Underlay and then Carpet ...and No one is going to see it again...:)....But true pleasure of restoration is to bring your project to its "Original" form ...the condition when it left Factory.....And as you said that it takes time.But we are going with good steady pace now..good quantity of very interesting pics ...will try to share as early as possible...

Thank you Arsalan Bhai for appreciation...There is no doubt that Ustaad Zahi is an "Artist" a crafts man .... way ahead than a denter....all these panels are hand made using conventional tools like .....hammer/dolly etc...and sheet used is 18 gauge...which is quite thick and one can't bend with hands....but when in the hands of Ustaad.....It "melts"...:)....
Now lets come to the interest of my son in this car....
Normally ...there are two basic kinds of people around....One who like to stick to the traditions and things left by their elders....( I belong to the same group :).)....and others who get rid of the "RUBBISH" left by the elders.......Normally,these clasic cars change hands when there is change in generation......My son is very much fond of it at the moment....But who knows , what he thinks about it after some years....Fingers crossed...

A lot of reasons for not updating....My Khala was very sick and I was engaged with her in different hospitals....Then she died...and you know...I was not feeling good after that...and other commitments...This thread was lost some where.....
