Rebuilding TRIUMPH HERALD 63 "ORIGINAL CONVERTIBLE" for my son (Spitfire)

About Impreza....It was badly hit...so badly that roof and floor was cut till half of the car ....... it was so fast at the time of hit. that (a tree or a pole) whatever ...penetrated the car to exactly half from right side in the middle...survival of driver is doubtful....

it looks like the paint and filler was holding the car in shape there is so much rust

Just to remind you .....This panel is made out of "18 gauge " steel sheet ...in one piece ...without any press or any thing ...but only using different hammers and dollies....and yes "MAGICAL HANDS OF USTAAD ZAHID".....
MAY GOD BLESS HIM .....money is no substitute for his work (in my opinion)...

What is she doing there? Who is owner? is it for sale? Any connection to Buksh bhai?

Another view of right rear side after removal of the big panel....also notice that end of inner wheels arch was attempted some time by some previous owner but badly done..

I have found similar type of halfhearted repairs in my '73 MKII.. New metal was welded over the rusted parts.. totally useless..

Thank you brother....I am so obliged for your sweet n nice words for me...GOD BLESS YOU.....Actually the main enjoyment part is "Making" these classic cars....No doubt...that USTAAD is doing wonders as he always does....I am trying to make this car a gift for my son....and definitely...this will last longer than the original one as we will seal each and every seam and will use best primer and paint available ...underside,inside and outside....
As long as I am alive...these cars will be with me...Once I die..then this is totally on the discretion of my son what he prefers to do with these cars...:)....as you know sometimes these cars change hands after the death of the owner / restorer....lets see what my son Prefers....LOL...:)..

As far as this blue Impreza is concerned .... It was bought "accidented" by the present owner...It was cut till half (right side) my be during some drifting /sliding at very high speed in a pole or tree like structure .....Impact was right in the middle (pillar) of right side ....floor/roof and sills ...everything was cut till half of the car ...front and rear was intact....
USTAAD Zahid made this car as well ...pulling the same floor back into position (without cutting replacing ) but lower panels were rebuilt ....I don't know about the previous history of this car....nor the present owner ,but can be found out if you are interested .... I don't know about your preferences...but this car suffered some serious structural damage...

I am Afraid Ansar Bhai ...that you are right .....welding new metal over the rusted one is useless and in fact accelerates the process of rusting by trapping water and moisture between two layers of metal...and the one welded dies quickly.....
Any how....Its ok brother...as long as thing are moving...:)...

She will start dancing when needle cross 100km no matter it have flat boxer engine which is famous for stable drive.
I know USTAAD's experties coz saw in spitfire thread and now in triumph too but classic is something different.
I am looking for impreza or evo7+ skull with documents. By any chance if your eye catch one please let me know.I will be great full.
For your back pain i don't know the history but if you like to explain maybe Japanese medicine can help you.Japanese herbal and generic medicines are the best.

Thank you so much dear for your concerns about my back.....Actually it has gone chronic now and at the age of 50 degenerative changes play another negative role ... having physiotherapy and medicines ...homeopathic + others ...so a little better...:)...
Very rightly said that there is a great difference between a classic and a modern muscle car....although USTAAD managed to pull it back in shape but a lot of heating /welding...It may come into market for sale ....but not at all worth buying...
but i think dangerous...as its a rare car and I have no clue how many are in Pakistan...I will look for an evo as you said...
