Please search for clear coat spray which is used for headlights. spray it on the headlights it will increase the life of lights. maybe it could be available thru ali express

Scheduled for paint today inshaAllah.

Yesterday decided that we paint the car, complete all fittings and hand over the car for the mechanical works, for final tweaks, brakes, axcels engine tune up car wash service and inter cleaning.

Once all dirty work is done then will do the final rubbing cutting polish on the paint, top wash add new tires in the end.

I will check what ever is it, But personally im not in a favour of such things. If needed il replace the headlights.

You can also apply plastic clear coat, ceramic coating or paint sealants used by car detailers. It is a good idea to prolong the life of the clear lens of the lights. The anti-UV coating on lights that comes from factory gradually wears off and whatever of it was left now was removed by buffing.

Brother what is the estimated cost of your project? I know its still in process but need to know the estimation. I also have an eye on similar City 2006 which needs proper restoration.

I have the same type of spray by Mequiars. I use it on the whole car by following the directions on the back. You can easily use it on headlights. There wont be any issues

Updates for today.

Both sides, fenders, boot painted today.

Bonnet, both bumpers are lined up for Monday. inshaAllah final fittings on monday. Should be ready for mechanic on tuesday.

great work. i also have city. as it is old. it is showing signs of wear n tear.
there is some work required in front suspension; mechanic says shocks should be replaced, can you tell in the end after your restoration is finished about suspension works, which parts to source for.
And also he said to get the catalytic converter cleaned. did you get it or are planning to get it cleaned???
and regarding paintwork, are you getting this paintwork done from khan motors? i know this area. there is sometimes paint job done here with some scratches and bumpers. how do you rate the paint job?? i once got it done from sukkur, but it was crap paint job, paint is cracking up at that site.

Yes the dent paint work is being done at khan motors., il share pictures once final rubbing polishing and servicing is done. You can judge the paint job.

I have been to several places, I havnt got better results.
