First of all it is a very wrong impression zyain sb is trying to give by generalising the punchline, 6lacs to me sounding as if I have taken 6lacs from him, and tried to scam him not added a single part in his pajero...
This story was one sided until now, as it was only narrated by one person ; i.e the owner of the suv. First clarification I don't have those 6lacs in my tummy nor my bank account. Secondly I will try to put myself in to this beautifully told, and well narrated story...
First visit(Pajero)
Zyain sb came to me for inspection of a pajero, which was a converted pajero from diesel to petrol. Secondly
The car had blinking 4x4 control lights and car was heavy on fuel and was stuck in 4x4 mode and it had coolant sensor code, c/d switch, abs front two wheel codes.
Using the obd2 scanner found out the codes. I told him about the problems. However he was told about the suspension work, the engine was throwing blue smoke, car was heating up on idle. Radiator was rusty and in very bad state, ac was blowing warm to room cooler kinda air. Someone had placed a depoxy on the iacv activation region to get rid of rpm unstability issue.
However there was water leaking near the firewall region, where the pipe edge was worn out. We had a pvc pipe cutter works well on rubber cutting so we cut that edge smooth and tighten the clamps. Water leakage stopped.
However he told us that while going to abbotabad pajero was fine on motorway but once we used to stop or go slow it used to heat up and it was consuming oil too much like once the oil was checked it was nearly on the last 0.25inch of dipstick.
Long story short, we were given a task of restoration of the suspension of pajero. The front suspension was not in good shape, rotors were warped and cracked, bearings worn out, some old mechanic placed the ball joints and steering tie rod ends of Chinese quality, and mostly they come without grease in them so that old lad who used to work on this had zero knowledge about there's no grease inside them and once we inspected them they all were dead by now. Bought everything of Japanese and high Quality standards as mentioned in invoices which I will start posting via Dropbox links, as I'm not a bad guy so I want to make everything crystal clear because I'm in this business for offering premium quality jobs in automotive field and to help others, so if I'm my knowledge and expertise have started depleting I should quit from this field. But it is not like this, alhamdulilah have got many learning outcomes from different professional experiences.
The parts of pajero are very expensive & the vendors who have them they talk to you like you are a piece of junk even if you ask for a light soft bargain of 1k, they start looking at you with anger. However we changed completed hub system of front to larger montero v6 one which had bigger rotors. Front shocks back shocks everything brand new of top notch quality as it was decided by zyain sb that the work should be of premium quality. Links, bushes, all rubber bushings, Ball joints, rack ends from A to Z was replaced to brand new, which was all worn out as that old 12year mechanic used to bluff the the old owner by spraying diesel under the car to his old owner "sir jee diesel mar dea hai awaazen kum hogai hain“ followed by a cup of tea saying sir bus 2000 de dein, and usually such owners then pat them on there back saying sheeda ustaad tussi great ho.
So usually the way of working is we inspect such suvs, make a very clear estimate of all the worn out parts, tell the owner about it, they give us approval and we ask for 50-70% advance then the work proceeds further, if anyone rejects something it's something we make it very clear that incase of damage on road you cannot later claim that my car or jeep was maintained by Dmotorsports and on the way to naran the rotor gets broken due to heat up, if not changed by the will of owner, he can't use our name. We.make this very clear because we've been in to such scenarios that we told the owners about few risks and they didn't got any service about those issues and later on they started bashing us that Dmotorsports is a failure etc etc..
However then zyain sb agreed to get the work on his pajero worth 214,300 out of which it was not completely spent on front or back suspension, it was spent on few other things such as Door handle. Change, ac refrigerant topup and. Some other stuff. Plus as you can see what's the labour rate charged to him and pricing is very clear... Now it was not a example of butchering around some newbie and selling him my recipe of 200pkr in 2lac.
The amount charged was 98% spent on the parts and stuff that was installed in the pajero, it wasn't like that, I gave 1lac80 to the installment of a new civic x. It was fully utilised in the jeep. However after the delivery, zyain sb was very happy by the work, and enjoyed the test drive with me on a low to mild off road terrain near our workshop we drive the suvs on these paths after or before the inspection or delivery process.
Now I will attach the whole invoice + zyain sb appreciation on it.
