Alhamdulillah tappet was done, got the feeler gauge from daraz, sounds much better now I had issues before the car sounded perfect in cold but when it gets hot it was making tick tick sound,khair Alhamdulillah resolved.

Self Tunning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

Here is the DIY for adjusting valve lash clearance (Tappets) in Khyber G10 6Valve engine.
1. Basic Concept
There are two types of valves inlet and outlet. The upper three are the inlet ones and the ones below near the exhaust pipe are the outlet.
There are three cylinders in Khyber G-10 engine. Each cylinder has one spark plug and two valves (one inlet and one outlet) . Cylinder no.1 is near the timing belt side and no.2 is in the middle and no.3 is on the distributor side. The spark sequence is 3 – 2 – 1 .
The valve lash clearance is to be set cylinder wise and in sequence of spark.

The valves open and close with help of the cam shaft and rocker arms in the following sequence
1. Inlet valve is opened
2. Piston goes down
3. Fuel air mixture is sucked in
4. Inlet valve closed.
5. Piston comes up and compress the mixture (with the force from the previous cylinders combustion)
6. Spark is initiated and mixture ignites
7. Piston goes down
8. Outlet valve opens

2. The tools required
a. 12mm ring
b. Screw driver
c. 10 mm socket
d. Feeler Gauge

3. Procedure
a. Remove the air cleaner assembly
b. Remove the tappet cover with 10mm socket
c. Jack up the car from the front right side (driving side).
d. Put the car in 4th gear.
e. Rotate the wheel till the outlet valve of the 1st cylinder is fully opened (pressed).
f. Check the valve lash clearance of the 3rd cylinder
g. Inlet 0.006 Inch, outlet 0.008 (this setting is applicable when the engine is at 25- 30 C)
h. Adjust with the help of feeler gauge.
i. Loosen up the lock nut by the 12mm ring.
ii. Put the appropriate gauge between the tip of the adjustment screw and the valve stem.
iii. tighten/loosen up the adjustment screw in a way that when feeler gauge is swiped between the valve and screw its not loose nor too tight. it should pass touching both ends without gap.
iv. When you are sure of the clearance tighten up the lock nut.
v. You are done with one cylinder.
i. Rotate the wheel till the outlet valve of cylinder 3 is fully opened (Pressed)
j. Check the valve lash clearance of the 2nd cylinder.
k. Repeat “h” according to ‘g’.
l. Rotate the wheel manually till the outlet valve of cylinder 2 is fully opened (Pressed)
m. Check the valve lash clearance of the 1st cylinder.
n. Repeat “h” according to ‘g’.

1. Replace the tappet cover and air cleaner.
2. Start the engine and check for any abnormal sound or behavior.
3. This is one way to do it. I mentioned this coz this method is easier to explain in words others are quicker but need video support to understand.

It's simple but I did it with the mechanic, My mechanic is pretty old school we are both learning together, I just guide him by learning from forums or youtube tutorials , the other day my nana civic reborn was leaking from the right side near power steering pump khair searched the internet found the reason vtec solenoid seals always go bad on these engines, all the pro mechanic were asking 5k-6k for the job as it very time-consuming job, bolts are very hard to reach khair I showed my mechanic a youtube tutorial of some gora replacing that seal as he never worked on that car he didn't know so we replaced that (technically he did all the work i was just holding the phone with the youtube video )probably it took us 2 hours or so, Paid him 1000 and he was happy and yeah Alhamdulillah oil leaking issue resolved.

I was going through some vids on YT and saw that there are spaces left(pic below) of bulbs for different notification signs along with the usual handbrake, cel etc.... My question, if we put the bulbs there, will it work as required?

I don’t think they will work
You need a sensor to operate a specific light( just an example: ABS) , if there’s no sensor or option installed in car then no matter how many bulb slots are there in meter
They won’t light up

What if it does... Usually wire harness laid out have some options left out open... Like seatbelt light switch(with handbrake light switch) under driver's seat... Not sure if its there, will check

Other notif lights would be low fuel light, door open, a yellow handbrake light for low brake fluid i believe... Etc

I was looking for the meter mainly for those additional notif lights and the black background with green lights.. but when i saw this possibility, I will first check it to see if i can make the notification lights work in the existing system we have

Can you share latest picture of this? Is it a bolt on fit or did it require alterations?
I have a carby 2001 cultus without the RPM cluster. Can I install this one in mine provided no alterations is needed

You can install speedometer from a 05-06 model as it will be a bolt on fit
You’ll only have to get RPM wire connected from the distributor, reat all will work

Cultus VXRi (EFI) RPM Drops with Light/AC after pressing Clutch

There's some issue with me Suzuki Cultus VXRi 2012 (EFI). RPM drops almost to zero while pressing the clutch after driving for 5-10KMs in my Cultus (EFI), especially when the headlights, AC, or both are turned on. The RPM drops when I stop at a signal or traffic jam, making it uncomfortable. I have to keep pressing the accelerator to keep the RPM above (RPM doesn't drop when I press the accelerator). The issue doesn't occur during a cold start, and my car don't overheat when the RPM drop …

I have used almost all brands including Locally fabricated ones.

Almost all have same life span more or less as highly dependent on your driving skills, habit and subjected environmental conditions.

For safe side, I replace them after 2 years time period ( My habit is soft braking and i used to drive with low and moderate speed driving) i do chanfe them wether they are apparently good or bad as due to moisture as well as splashing Street waters, high pressure water sprinkles at service station, mud on Karachi roads, humid and moist atmospheric condition all such factors contribute to their life deterioration.
