fortuner 5 door & prado 5 door has same frame their wheel base is the same. body shell may differ in dimensions.

3 door variants have different frame & shell dimensions

i recommend read basic anatomy of frame ( chassis ) for hatch & sedan without reference to any brand.

Corolla is an economy family car.

Yaris is an economy family car.

Both are not in high class or luxury segments.

Only thing Corolla is slightly ahead is in terms of dimensions. Others might find little smaller dimensions of Yaris as more attractive as it's easier to maneuver and park in rush traffic.

If bigger space is the only criteria then yes Corolla ahead.

No its not a Joke, You may call it a heart break for current corolla owners but the size difference is almost negligible

At a lower price, yaris 1.5 ativ is quite loaded compared to altis 1.6.

The interior is generations ahead. The piano black finish on the dash, the MID on the meter, the auto climate control... Altis needs an upgrade now... it has already started looking outdated.

The only thing i dislike about the current generation of corolla is its interior, yaris addresses the concern. Back seat is by no means smaller than Corolla however the armrest might be irritating on the back seat.

I guess Toyota would have the 'ghairat' to upgrade the altis 1.6 in the 12th generation. Especially, it seriously needs digital climate control and retractable mirrors. I think yaris 1.5 CVT Ativ also does not have retractable mirrors.

One should wait for 12th gen to launch and then decide. In contrast, the new CITY is looking sexy than ever, though Honda Atlas will surely make it much worse compared to the version in india or thailand.

Bhai...this model is not of 2020...its been since last ,2 years...so not something brandnew...size matters a lot..and test drive will prove that..in india..u can see reviews and yaris is a competeter of city. Yes it has more features than 1.6 and 1.6 should have got push start atleast. But imc knows there Customer is going nowhere. Only gli and xli will be impacted..even if Corolla gets everything..its still vant compete camry..same goes for yaris vs Corolla
