last night i checked the nozzle popping pressure and also leak test ,,,,,,nozzle 3 was working well when i checked it last time but now it was jam ,,,,, i see gauge going above 180 bar and nothing comes out ,,,,,, later i opened and clean it and then it was working well ,,,,,,,,nozzle pop at 128 , 130 , 130 and 130 bar respectively,,,,,and as per manual old nozzle 132 to 152 bar ,,,,,, and new must be 142 to 152 bar ,,,,,,and while adjusting the old nozzle use the specification for the new nozzle ,,,,,,,,also i have measured the pressure adjusting shim thickness ,,,,,,,i have noticed scratch marks on shim ,,,,,,, it seems some one has grind these shims against the sand paper ,,,,,,,,,and i know this vehicle has been maintained by toyota 3S since day one and after them its been maintained by me ,,,,,,, even 3S guys doing jugars ,,,,,,,,,,,
any how i am attaching a video of one injector ,,,,,,, its my first experience with nozzles so i need some guidance ,,,, either replace nozzles or rebuilt the old one ,,,,,,, i think if i change the shims with appropriate thickness then may be the leak problem is solved ,,,,,,,, also the pop pressure will be adjusted to 150 bar ,,,,,, varying shim by 0.025mm will increase the pop pressure by 3.5 bar,,,, knowing the measurements of present shims i can calculate the thickness of new shims ,,,,,,,and second option is to replace the nozzles ,,,,,,,but i think i will need new shims even if i replace the nozzles ,,,, and finding new shims is not easy ,,,,,, any how lets see how it goes ,,,,,,
