ok so yesterday replaced the coolant as well ,,,,,,,, it need around 6L of coolant including expansion tank and heater core,,,,,,,,, heater pipes was not fitted as the heater core got a leak around 1 year before ,,,,,,, that has been fixed during AC overhaul but pipes haven't been connected at that time ,,,,,,,, i use 3L of coolant mixed with 3L of water which i have been collected from a newly installed split AC unit ,,,,,,,,,, also remove the thermostat valve for flushing ,,,,,,, my plan was to flush the entire system with citric acid but haven't done that after seeing the clean condition of old coolant and pipes/radiator ,,,,,,, i think batter just flush the system with clean water and later blown out all the water trapped inside water jackets,,,,,,,, system good enough to go for next 5 years or so ,,,,,,,,

also fitted a pair for LED lights for batter visibility,,,, to be used on highways only ,,,,,,,such things must not be used within city,,,,,,,

You can buy distilled water from I-9 industrial area. There are many distillation plants there.

When you mix this caltex coolant with distilled water it's an exothermic reaction and generates a lot of heat

Awesome work. For the future rad cleaning i found out that astonish descaler the one in 300 ml bottle is much more safer to use to clean out gunk from the rads plus since its citric acid based so kinda works good . Inshallah hoping to meet you soon. Kind regards

you forgot one important step in the AC work, the expansion valve is supposed to be wrapped in corktape to prevent ambient temperature affecting it. It really makes a big difference (in my experience) - It was there when it was factory assembled.

btw - those round suspension bushings are not clocked correctly, they are supposed to be installed so that they can twist on the same angle as the horizontal one - your machinist pressed them in a bit odd, they will work but fail earlier. But in this position your car will hold the road more steady. The horizontal ones also are supposed to be clocked so they can absorb bumps better (smoother drive) - and finally tightened with the car at ready to drive height. (this makes the biggest difference in drive quality and usable life)

btw - your cooling system needed a flush, the little rust you see is bad too, a mild 5% treatment would get this out and you will have a new shiny system ready for hundred thousand mile service or even more.

yes its a nice platform for a like minded technical people ,,,,,,,,,average is atleast 17 to 18 on local ,,,,,,,,, i have conformed that after finishing all mechanical work,,,,,,,,and on highway at 130km/h it still ask more ,,,,,,

sorry dear i have no plan to sell it ,,,, just came back from a trip to northern areas and vehicle perform as good as it should be ,,,,,, infect i am searching for another one for my brother to use it as a daily runner ,,,,,,but unfortunately most of 2D's are now ruined by our local mechanics
