Just bought Passo 2006 on original condition, it's better than my expectations except for fuel consumption which is around 6 kml. I have changed AIT filter, spark plugs and serviced throttle body with carb cleaner, also reset ecu with battery removal method but nothing has changed... Engine is good and ac is good suspension is good..no sound in car... What will be the solution guys? I am expecting at least 10kml

First calculate manually then inform us. As odo shows wrong reading. For example if you reset/trip milleage meter in rushy place you will get 5km/l type of average but if you reset it on highway you will see actual results.

Apart from brand name 5-20 is thinner oil than 10-30.

0w 20 is the recommended oil for these cars from 2011 onwards... Our local mechanic mentality is the reason ppl use 10w 30 or 5w 30 cauz we live in a hot climate. This ruins the efficiency and may cauz knocking else knows as pinging.

Anyways, Toyota 0w 20 is expensive, like 5200 per 4 Liters. Honda is cheaper and it can be used in a Toyota without a problem. The other best choice would be to use 5w 20 Zic X7 (currently being used in out Boon)..

Our car is Eco idle so it is averaging 18 to 19 km/l with AC... U have to drive these cars gently, no need to rush these tiny engines.. It will last longer and give u a pleasurable drive..

P.S:The engine runs at abt 89 degree centigrade so i call bullshit on the hotter climate thicker oil logic...

91 ron. Drives fine with millage above 17 in Islamabad with full time ac. 5w30 liqui moly with orginal Thailand oil filter and air filter. Bought it at 4000km from mycar.pk fresh import. Done 44k km in a year.

Waleed thank you for reply can you tell me the impact if i change the oil this time from 10W-30 (Halovine Formula) to MOLY OIL (OW-20) OR ZIC X7 (5W-20) Mechanics often says that if you go to thinner oil after Thicker oil Your Duboo (head will give knocking Sound) also Liquid Moly OW-20 Is thinner and it burns faster than other engine oil
