@khuram2703 I can understand that over pressure causes the clutch to trip but what i cant understand is how the engine load is connected to all of this? ideally engine load should trip the compressor clutch since when the engine is under excessive load the ac system pressure would be rather low than high.
thank you @tintin1 i shall contact him over the weekend.
yeah, may be you are right. thats exactly what i am trying to figure out that why is my car having this issue. I am just trying to establish if the culprit is the engine or the compressor in this case.
I may be wrong but I think KGC-10 and 30 were non cvt whereas KGC15 and 35 had CVT transmission. where as QNC series always had CVT but that is 1.3L US variant.
hello all..if 165/65 R14 79S require 36 psi pressure as recommended...how much air pressure shud we use in tires 175/75R14..using toyota passo 2015.
This would have been valid in case of OEM compressor..... wesay every 1000cc car need AC to switch off during ascending.....

All KGC 30 are CVT equipped.
36 psi is company recommended for 165/65/R14...as written in manual...its actually 250 kpa written..so u have to convert that to Psi
which model u had?? coz i dont have a good experience with 185 width tires
It is 36 psi as recomm but here in pak Lahore.... if i put 36 it thuds on pot holes like hell so i used to make them 32 psi inflated.
is there some kind of calculator to check air pressire for different size tires??
I don't know .... Simply follow what is recommended on your door.....
An idea by going through diff oem tyre sizes generally i see it between 30 to 38 Psi
Speaking of tyre sizes, is 185/70/R14 usable in Passo ?
Currently have 165/70/R14 and want to raise height with tyres. Currently its with spacers which I want to get rid of.
As per calculation, height will increase by 1inch
Check with tyre upsize calculator
which model of passo u have ??
tintin is right coz i dont have good driving experience with 185/65/14 on passo 2015..also its more then 3% oversize..better go for 175/65/14 ...depends on you too coz people are using bigger tires and it looks good too but that wasnt the case for me!!
