Hi friends m Rishi from Delhi NCR [National Capital Region].
Two years back I made a trip to a famous hill station called SHIMLA [famous for SHIMLA SAMJHAUTA, as we all hear a lot about on political forums] and for many other things, specaily as a famous tourist spot near to Delhi.
Shimla is the capital of the State of Himachal Pradesh and used to be summer capital of pre-partition India.
We went there in the month of January so we witnessed a lot of snow specially when we moved above the Shimla.
Interestingly we had left from Delhi late in the afternoon after finishing work and we had not booked any hotel beforehand so we literally had to spend the whole night in an open parking lot inside the car in temperature being minus 3 degrees, which prompt us to not waste time in the car and we left for a village above Shimla called Narkanda and it proved to be a great outing as we witnessed much of the snow there.
Shimla is around 400 km from Noida, which is part of NCR, where in stay, so it took us around 8 hours to reach there.
Without taking much time of yours I would prefer the pics to do the talking.
The first pic is on the way to Narkanda a small hilly village above shimla.
The second obviously is my litlle baby VW POLO giving a handsome pose in the wilderness.
