After changing whole wiring of my Cuore with kabli wiring(included Ac device behind glove box & all settings as in kabli wiring, no extra relay or alteration done) I got Ac gas recharge, activated Ac system but a problem occurred. When AC is ON radiator fan runs direct & condenser fan also but when AC is OFF & radiator fan starts on auto rpm jumps to 2.5K until fan turns off. I discussed with electrician he said it is mechanical issue I showed to mechanic he suspected race cable stucks sometimes so he changed position of race cable ,then he decreased Ac idle up from a screw & told me to check on test drive( till then auto fan was working fine) Then I took car for test drive waited but fan wasn't turning ON checked heat gauge was above mid mark, I turned off car waited few minutes then opened radiator cap & poured about 1.5L water & slowly brought car back to workshop. Mechanic called electrician to check & found that fan relay was faulty so he changed fan relay & set Ac idle up rpm to about 1K. I checked there that fan works direct with Ac & auto without Ac & left workshop. In the way back to home I saw same behaviour when autofan starts rpm jumps to 2.5K & come to normal as fan turns off.
When AC is ON it runs fine without any issue.
Yesterday I disconnected connector of AC vsv & problem solved autofan runs but rpm don't jump up.i told this to electrician he said connection of autofan is right coming from Ac controller chip & not from Ac vsv. Also he said incase diode of AC controller bad then fan won't start when AC turned ON (also said something like back Mar jae ga ac).He suspects it is wrong vacuum lines connections causing it. I showed to mechanic he says vacuum system is working fine. Please help ‎

i reckon somebody over this forum did a 4G13 swap in KIA Spectra some time back, please try searching through threads.

Spectra being a nice car has failed due to lack of support from dealerships as well as spare part shops. have only seen on roads never got a chance to get a ride or catch glimpse of engine bay. sorry

3 litres, add more as per needle. 3.3 becomes overfilled this is true for my 4g15. All 4g13,4g15,4g18 share pretty much the same sump size.

I am having this issue when A/C is turned on the rpm fluctuates from time to time. Sometimes the rpm drops and there is a vibration and other times car suddenly jerks and moves forward with force even with brake pressed.

I think that is when you compressor kicks in the Engine will have more load and when temperature in the cabin goes to set value the Compressor goes off and engine gets a relief ,pretty normal as it should be, but moving car is somethin new for me as well

if you know how to trace vacuum line, check for IDLE UP vaccum line. or goto a car ac shop and ask them to check for any vaccum tube leaking or damaged. During the day light hours with AC the engine rpm shall be at 1100, with cabin fan blowing & engine cooling fans blowing, at P or Neutral - after sunset with cab fan running, headlights on and engine bay cooling fans blowing it shall be at 1000 -

Buy a 4 litre can always for the lancer, add 3 litres...idle the car for 5 minutes...following that shut the engine off, wait a few seconds take out the dipstick clean it and reinsert, slowly fill up oil if the dip stick shows below the marker. I can assure you 3.3 litre will be overfill and nothing is worse than a overfill or no oil at all!

Is there any point of changing the car from water to coolant if the radiator is already very rusty and the car is reducing water? There's also some white smoke on cold start which smells like petrol so there might be a leak near the gasket, the smoke completely goes away after 2 seconds. @Xulfiqar

I had kept lancer for 6 years. Capsat is correct, It's 3.3 with oil filter. If u dont change the filter, then it's 3 liters. Be sure of the quantity as I have been putting 4 lits in my 1.3 GLX when I purchased the car and it started leaking oil from seals which i think was due to excess oil. Later when i found that it requires 3.3 with filter, I would measure the quantity like a Baniya

Correct. But my Lancer's dip stick would always show 3.3 liters way above the high mark. Dont know why, i guess the previous owner change the dipstick. But engine oil quantity of lancer 1.3 glx is 3.3 with filter and 3 liters without filter.

Aoa. Please. Indicate which spark plugs are suitable for Lancer 1.3L, with 4g13 automatic. Mechanics at Islamabad are giving ambivalent opinions. Please help. Regards.

Are you regular in changing old oil?
check engine oil pan for damage and sludge buildup.

@Xulfiqar, My Honda city 2008 model is having the problem in reduction of idle speed when A.C is switched On. I have checked any speed sensor on its compressor but no sensor is there nor any wiring except supply wire of compressor clutch. There is only one sensor which is fixed on engine body near main revolving pulley/ belt. I bought this car recently & do not know its history. The ECU has been reset but problem remains as it is. All other things are o.k.

Not sure what the previous owner did, but for the 5 years it remained with me, I had changed the oil precisely on time.
