And the tradition remained alive as Yamaha bike prices have once again been increased. Now, all bikes of the company cost over Rs. 200,000. Isn't that astonishing, now a bike is going to cost over Rs. 200,000.
The company has increased the prices of its three bikes.
New Yamaha Bike Prices
The new price of Yamaha
YB125Z (Red/Black) is
Rs. 201,000 compared to previous rate of Rs. 190,000, meaning the price has been increased by Rs. 11,000.
The second bike is Yamaha YB125Z-DX, which also saw a jump of Rs. 11,000 and now it will cost Rs. 216,500 against last rate of Rs. 205,500.
The third and final bike is Yamaha YBR 125 (Red/Blue/Black) and this one's price has been increased by Rs. 12,000 and now you will have to pay Rs. 223,000 now instead of Rs. 211,000.
And not so surprisingly, the company has not given a reason of price hike except mentioning the price without Sales Tax and with Sales Tax.

Previous Price Hike
In November last year,
Yamaha increased bike prices up to
Rs. 7000. After seeing an increase of Rs. 6,000 the price of YB 125 Z reached to Rs. 190,000 from Rs. 184,000. Meanwhile, the company increased Rs. 7,000 on its YBZ DX variant, taking the price to Rs. 205,500 from Rs. 198,500.
And the prices of YBR and YBR G 125 had surged by Rs. 7,000 each, taking their rates to Rs. 211,000 and Rs. 220,500, respectively.
In year 2021, the prices of Yamaha increased as much as Rs. 30,500 after five hikes. The rates were increased in January, April, August, October and then November.
The motorbike companies have been increasing the prices repeatedly since last couple of years. And most of the times, the companies have not given any concrete reason. It is pertinent to mention that the major portion of bike manufacturing is localized, hence, there is no proper reason of these repeated price hikes.
