The 2nd Generation Honda Integra was introduced in 1989. The 1989 Honda Integra is a front engine front wheel drive compact sedan. The Honda Integra 1989 was available in two variants 3-door liftback and 4-door sedan. Production of the 2nd Generation Honda Integra lasted for 4 years, the Honda Integra was available to purchase in the year 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 and the year 1993. The Honda Integra was available in 3 different variants RXi, ZXi and XSi. The exterior of the 2nd Generation Honda Integra features a fairly minimalistic and restrained design language. The front end houses long narrow rectangular style side swept headlights, a small grille, a large rectangular air intake and an outward sticking bumper. The rear end houses slim narrow side swept taillights and an outward sticking bumper. The 3-door liftback variant features identical styling to the 4-door sedan at the front but features a sloping roofline at the rear, slim narrow rectangular styled taillights and an outward sticking bumper. All variants of the Honda Integra feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 1989 Honda Integra features familiar styling to a sedan designed in the late eighties.

The interior of the 1989 Honda Integra features the use of black plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the RXi variant include air conditioning, power steering, power windows, power lock doors, a stereo speaker audio system and a tachometer. Features on the higher end ZXi include a rear windscreen wiper, a front spoiler, ABS Brakes and automatic climate control. Features on the highest end XSi include a leather steering wheel, leather upholstery and wood paneling. Options include a panoramic sunroof. The overall interior of the 2nd Generation Honda Integra features a good amount of interior space.
