The face lifted version of the Suzuki Alto Lapin features circular headlights that incorporate into the front rectangular grille that features multiple chrome accents, dual angular rectangular air intakes and a flush bumper design language. The rear end features a flatter design with the same taillights and a standard case tailgate. The overall exterior of the 2002 Suzuki Alto Lapin features a very distinctive and unique that allows it set itself apart from its rivals. All variants of the Suzuki Alto Lapin 2002 feature identical styling in every aspect.

The interior of the 2002 Suzuki Lapin Alto features the use of black and white plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features include air conditioning, power steering, power mirrors, power windows, power lock doors, trip computer, tachometer and a stereo speaker audio system. The higher end X2 variant features climate control, cruise control and heated front seats. Options include automatic climate control, a sunroof and leather upholstery.
