Land Rover Defender 90 - Complete Custom Rebuild "It's not a Jeep - It's a Defender!!" Model 1990. Got this beast from an auction in 2019 - Non-runner and had to be brought back on a trailer. Took me almost 3 years in upgrades and bringing this iconic beauty, back to life. A complete strip down to its bones prior the rebuild starting all the way from its chassis, every nut and bolt refurbished, repainted, replaced and upgraded. Most of the parts / accessories were imported from UK. Yes! it was DAMN Expensive and YES, got all this done behind my Better-half's back (Men would hear me ;). Took me a lot longer than expected but nothing like "When a plan comes together!" Engine replaced with "Toyota 5VZ-FE - 3.4 L - V6 - Gasoline - Auto." Crown wheel and pinion upgraded to match the ratios. I know, I know! stick shift / diesel lovers will not appreciate this but to all the haters - "this is not a mule" ;) Sliding side windows replaced with Tempered Safety Glass giving Defender 90 an iconic look. Custom Red Vine paint that shifts to black. Seats, center console, steering, instrument cluster all upgraded.
