The Audi Q7 was introduced in Pakistan in 2016 with its second generation. Since then, it has made upgrades to the Q7 models every year. The latest Audi Q7 current_year features a brand new design that was meant to appeal to the high-end SUV market. 

In 2018, proximity keyless entry became standard in the Q7. some key features were reshuffled in 2019. The 2020 model came with major upgrades including refreshed exterior and interior styling and a dual-screen infotainment system was introduced. The previous turbocharged V6 engine was replaced with a supercharged V6 engine. The Audi Virtual Cockpit was made standard and Audi Q7 debuted in the market. In 2021, features were reshuffled as well as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert were made standard. The 2022 model received few upgrades and more standard safety features were added in higher trims.

The Audi Q7 current_year is available in only one variant in Pakistan, the 55 TFSI Quattro known as 3.0 TFSI Quattro. However, it is available in 4 variants globally which are 2.0 TFSI Quattro, 3.0 TFSI Quattro, 3.0 TDI Quattro, and ultra 3.0 TDI Quattro. The price of the Audi Q7 55 TFSI Quattro in Pakistan is Rs. 430.0 lacs.

Exterior

Audi Q7 features a brand new more modern and premium design language. The front fascia is comprised of an angular rectangular-shaped chrome grille nestled between the sleek side-swept headlights. Below these headlights are the standard circular-shaped front fog lights. The Q7 also comes with the option of Matrix LED headlights for more convenience. The S line comes with striking sporty design features such as front and rear bumpers, door trim strips, side radiator grilles, and diffuser.

The rear end also features the aesthetically designed side swept tail lights with the addition of protracted bumper lights. The rear indicators are animated making the vehicle prominent in traffic.  The overall Audi Q7 current_year exterior stands out amongst its rivals with its sleek yet bold design, especially in the local market. 

Interior

The interior of the Audi Q7 current_year features the classic 7 seater layer arranged among three rows. With a clean and contemporary look, the interior is spacious. It comes with the latest technology for a comfortable and fun-filled driving experience. 

It comes as standard covered in a choice of Dark Grey or Sand Beige colored fabric, however, other color options are also available at an additional cost. The leather wraps and wooden inlays give the interior a luxurious look and feel. All the seats are comfortable and adjustable while the last row can be raised or lowered to increase storage space.  

The driver-assistance features in the Audi Q7 have been upgraded in the 2022 model with adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist as standard. On top of that, it comes with cruise control, traction control, and standard automated emergency braking plus a forward-collision warning.  

The Audi Q7 comes standard with two touch displays. The bigger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen allows passengers to control the media options. The smaller 8.6-inch display is for managing the car’s climate and vehicle settings. The car is equipped with 23 speakers to provide a top-tier entertainment environment. 

The standard Audi Virtual Cockpit digital gauge display is also installed in the Q7. Other standard features include 8 airbags, power windows, leather upholstery, satellite navigation with DVD input, rearview camera, sunroof, and power mirrors, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, USB ports, wireless device charging, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot. 

Other standard features include The overall cabin of the Audi Q7 is very spacious, practical, and luxurious but has comparatively less cargo space than its competitors.

Engine

The all-wheel drive Audi Q7 is offered in one engine option in Pakistan which is the 3.0 Litre DOHC 24 Valve V6 Engine(Supercharged) while two other engine options are available in different regions around the world 2.0 Litre DOHC 16 Valve Engine (Turbocharged) and 3.0 Litre DOHC 24 Valve Engine (Diesel). 

The 3000 cc TFSI engine 228/3.250–4.750 hp @ rpm at a torque of 500/1.750–3.250 Nm @ rpm. The 8-speed triptonic transmission makes the Q7 go from zero to a 100km/h in 7.3 seconds. 

Mileage

Audi's claim for Audi Q7’s fuel consumption is 13 Km/L on the highway and 8 Km/L within the city. 

Colors

It is only available in white color.

Ride & Handling

The Audi Q7 provides a smooth riding experience especially when its optional 21-inch wheels are paired with optional air suspension. It gives a sporty experience and the four-wheel steering gives more control over the vehicle. The safety features and driver assistance features make the ride safe and convenient. It is suitable for in-town drives as well as for long, tough adventurous venues.

Competitor

The main competitors of the Audi Q7 in the Pakistani market are Toyota Land Cruiser, Range Rover, BMW X7, and Mercedes GLS500.

 The BMW X7 shares all the features of the Q7 with more space and bigger size but it is a lot more expensive than the Q7. 

With a power of 455 HP @ 5250 RPM at a torque of 700 Nm @ 1800 RPM, the Mercedes-Benz GLS500 gives a strong competition to the Audi Q7.
