The Audi A7 1st (4G8) Generation was introduced in 2010. The 1st Generation Audi A7 is the first modern Sportback produced by Audi. 1st Generation Audi A7 is a mid-size luxury car that was introduced in direct competition to Mercedes Sportback the CLS. The 1st Generation A7 features the classic Sportback steep roofline that integrates into the rear window and trunk lid which officially classifies the A7 as a hatchback. The 1st Generation Audi A7 received a facelift in 2014 which added a series of cosmetic upgrades and enhancements to the engine line-up that made them Euro 6 compliant. The 1st Generation Audi A7 is available in only 1 variant in Pakistan, 2.0 TFSI, while 2.0 TFSI, 2.8 FSI, 3.0 TFSI, 3.0 TDI, S7 and RS7 with Quattro all-wheel drive (standard on all models except 2.8 FSI) are also available in other countries. The price of the Audi A7 1st Generation is competitive when compared to other models in the same class.

The exterior of the 1st Generation Audi A7 sports the familiar Audi Design language. The front end features sleek, narrow glare free matrix LED headlights, a very large chrome hexagon grille, and dual air intakes on the bumper. The side’s features large flared wheel arches and minimalistic curves in the bodywork. The rear end houses sleek trapezium styled headlights with a tube inserts, a hatchback, an electronic air brake and dual rectangular exhaust outlets. The RS7 model features a fairly more aggressive and sporty design language. The front end houses a larger front bumper with a larger trapezium air intake embossed with the Quattro logo, flanked by larger dual air intakes with aluminum accents. The rear end houses a larger rear bumper with a rear diffuser and a sports exhaust system. The facelift variant of the Audi A7 featured a series of cosmetic changes, it introduced new headlights with Matrix LED and a tubular design, the rear end also houses new full LED taillights with a tubular design. The overall exterior of the 1st Generation Audi A7 features subtle aggressive styling cues and very graceful profile that gives the A7 a very distinctive look.

The interior of the 1st Generation Audi A7 compromises of a choice between brown cedar wood, walnut wood, dark brown walnut wood and fine grain ash brown wood trim paneling (standard carbon fiber on RS7). The front and rear seats are covered in a choice of black, cedar brown, Nougat Brown Valcona, flint gray Valcona and Atlas Beige Valcona colored leather. Standard features on the Premium include include 4-zone climate control, power auto-folding heated exterior side mirrors, power tailgate, multifunction steering wheel, sunroof, ambient LED interior lighting, 12-way power front seats, satellite navigation, 14-speaker BOSE 630 watt surround sound system with SD card, AUX, USB, CD and Bluetooth input, cruise control and a heads up display. Features on the higher end Premium Plus include adaptive cruise control as standard, heated rear seats as standard, heated steering wheel as standard, rear side airbags as standard, massage seat as standard and night vision assist as standard .Options include corner view cameras, high beam assist, Audi lane assist, adaptive cruise control, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, seat ventilation with massage function, night vision assist, power closing doors, rear side airbags, Audi guard all-weather floor mats, Audi guard cargo mat, Audi guard protection kit and a cargo net. The overall interior of the 1st Generation Audi A7 is luxurious and fairly spacious at the front but offers below par space in the rear due to the sloping roofline, it also offers a great level of comfort and interior refinement.
