The 6th Generation Porsche 911 was introduced in 2004. The 6th Generation Porsche 911 is a mid-engine rear/ four wheel drive sports car. The 6th Generation Porsche 911 ditched the controversial styling of the previous 5th Generation 911 for a design language that was more in line with what Porsche enthusiasts wanted from Porsche. The 911 received a facelift in- 2009 with a series of minor cosmetic upgrades and engine revisions. The 6th Generation 911 is available in 11 models Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S, Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, GT3 RS, GT3 RS 4.0, GT2 and GT2 RS. The 6th Generation 911 is also available in 2 body styles 2-door coupe and 2-door convertible (not available in GT models). Production of the Porsche 911 6th Generation lasted for 9 years/ The Porsche 911 was available to purchase during the years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and the year 2012. The price of 6th Generation Porsche 911 was not competitive when compared to other models in the same class.

The 6th Generation Porsche 911 features a classic 911 design language. The front end houses circular headlights, angular sides wept fog lights, a trapezium air intake and quad angular air intakes. The rear end houses rectangular style side swept taillights, a dual tip sports exhaust system, and a retractable spoiler. The Turbo and the Turbo S variants feature flared wheel arches, a larger front bumper with larger air intakes, rear side air intake, and a small fixed rear wing. The GT variants of the Porsche 911 features a larger fixed rear wing on the back, larger flared wheel arches, a lower ride height and larger tires. The facelift variant of the Porsche 911 featured a series of cosmetic changes and upgrades. The front end houses new smaller circular headlights and dual daytime running LED light strips. The rear end houses new LED taillights and a new sports exhaust system with bigger circular tips. The overall exterior of 6th Generation Porsche 911 features a very distinctive design language that allows it to stand out amongst other cars in its class.

The interior of the 6th Generation Porsche 911 features a familiar Porsche design language. The seats are covered in a choice of black, garnet red, espresso, agate gray and Luxor Beige premium leather. Standard features include fully automatic 2-zone climate control, keyless entry, cruise control, satellite navigation, 9-speaker stereo audio system and 4-way electric seats.
