The 5th Generation Daihatsu Move was introduced in 2011. Daihatsu Move (2011-2014) is a front engine front/four wheel drive Kei car. The 5th Generation of Daihatsu Move features an updated design language and a slighter larger body compared to the previous generation. Daihatsu Move 5th Generation was available in the following trim levels L (Basic), X, RS(turbocharged) and Custom packages with G grade having the eco idle system. Daihatsu halted the production of 5th Generation in 2014. The price of the 5th Generation Daihatsu Move is fairly competitive when compared to other cars available in the local market.

The exterior of the 5th Generation Daihatsu Move features a unique design language. The front end houses upswept trapezium headlights and a large trapezium grille. The rear end houses stacked vertical taillights. Daihatsu Move Custom variants come with a large opening aero bumper, thick hood and round four headed LED headlamps.RS variant of the Daihatsu Move features a slightly more sporty design. The front end houses a larger front bumper with front fog lights. The side’s houses flared wheel arches and larger tyres. The rear end houses xenon lights and spoiler. All other variants of the Daihatsu Move feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 5th Generation Daihatsu Move features a fairly distinctive design language that allows it to set itself apart from its rivals.

The interior of the 5th Generation Daihatsu Move comprises of black plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features include air conditioning, smart assist system, cup holders, power steering, power lock doors, tachometer and a multi-information display. Features on the higher end X and X Limited variants feature leather plus fabric upholstery. X Limited also comes with memory navigation system. In the custom packages, car key free security system become the standard feature. Options include heated front seats, satellite navigation, crash avoidance system, rear and top-down view cameras and leather plus fabric upholstery. The overall interior of the 5th Generation Daihatsu Move features a decent amount of interior space in both the front and rear for a Kei car of its exterior dimensions. It also offers a good level of comfort and interior refinement.
