The 2nd Generation Honda Fit was launched in 2007. The 2nd Generation Honda Fit is a front engine front wheel drive hatchback. The Honda Fit 2nd Generation is also referred to as the Honda Jazz in other regions of the world. The 2nd Generation Honda Fit featured a larger wheelbase and exterior dimensions compared to the previous 1st Generation Honda Fit which meant there was more room inside and as well as an increase in boot capacity. Production of the Honda Fit 2nd Generation lasted for seven years. The Honda Fit was available to purchase in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and the year 2013. The Honda Fit is available in three variants F, G and RS with each being available in Smart Style Edition. The price of the Honda Fit 2nd Generation was fairly competitive when compared to other models in the same class available in the local market.

The exterior of the 2nd Generation Fit features a unique design language. The front fascia compromises of narrow, sleek upswept headlights, a chrome grille, a large front bumper with a rectangular air that is intake flanked by standard circular fog lights. The high rear end houses side swept trapezium styled taillights and a standard case hatchback. The Honda Fit RS features a slightly more Sport and aggressive design language. The front end houses a larger front bumper with larger air intakes. All other variants of the Honda Fit feature identical styling in every aspect. The rear end houses a roof spoiler, a larger rear bumper, and a sports exhaust system. The overall exterior of the 2nd Generation Honda Fit features a fairly unique and elegant design language that allows it to differentiate itself from its rivals.

The interior of the 2nd Generation Honda Fit features a very familiar Honda design language. It compromises of black plastic and polished silver plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the L variant include 6 airbags, stability control, trip computer, multifunction steering wheel, a 4-speaker stereo audio system with AUX, CD and USB input, air conditioning, cup holders, power lock doors, power steering, power windows and a tachometer. Features on the higher end G and RS variant include allowing wheels and front fog lights. Options include satellite navigation and a Bluetooth-equipped stereo audio system. The overall interior of the 2nd Generation Honda Fit is very spacious especially when considering its small external dimensions. It also offers a decent level of comfort and interior refinement. The Smart Style edition brings a great level of practicality by being able to fold the rear seats in 18 different ways.
