The 2nd Generation Toyota Vitz features a distinctive design language. The front end houses sleek trapezium styled upswept headlights, a rectangular grille and a rectangular air intake on the front bumper. The rear end houses trapezium styled angular side swept taillights and a standard case hatchback. The 5-door hatchback features identical styling to the 3-door hatchback apart from being slightly longer to accommodate the rear doors. All variants of this car feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 2nd Generation Toyota Vitz features a fairly unique but familiar Toyota design language that allows it to set itself apart from other cars in its class.

Standard features in the B variant include air conditioning, 2 airbags, cup holders, power lock doors, power steering, power windows, tachometer, and a stereo speaker audio system. Features on the higher end F include privacy glass and keyless entry. Features on the higher end U model include power adjustable door mirrors, rear windscreen wiper and 8 airbags as standard.
