The 2nd Generation of Subaru Pleo was introduced in 2010. Subaru Pleo is a front engine front/four wheels drive compact Kei car. Subaru Pleo was launched as a direct replacement to the Subaru Vivio when new Japanese Regulations were introduced changing the criteria that classified the car as a Kei car. The 2nd Generation Subaru Pleo is mechanically and visually identical to the 7th Generation Daihatsu Mira apart from the Subaru branding. The Subaru Pleo 2nd Generation was available in 5 variant levels A, F, L, Custom R and Custom RS(turbo). Subaru Pleo halted the production in 2014. Subaru Pleo was also available in 2 different versions 5-door hatchback and 3-door hatchback. The price of the Subaru Pleo was fairly competitive when compared to other cars available in the same class.
Exterior
The exterior of the 2nd Generation Subaru Pleo features a fairly unique and disentitle design language. The front end houses sharp upswept headlights, a small rectangular grille, a trapezium styled air intake and a rectangular style air intake. Suzuki Pleo Custom comes with chrome plated grills and 4 lamp headlamps with sharp design. The rear end houses stacked vertical long narrow side swept taillights and a standard case hatchback. The 5-door hatchback variant features identical styling except for a slightly longer body in order to accommodate the rear door. The overall exterior of Subaru Pleo features fairly unique styling that allows it to set itself apart from its rivals. Higher end variants L, Custom R and Custom RS include front fog lights and allow wheels.
Interior
The interior of the 2010 Subaru Pleo features the use of gray plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features include power steering, power front windows, power lock doors, tachometer, trip computer and a stereo speaker audio system. Features on the higher F and L variant include body colored matched exterior door handles, rear power windows and power mirrors. Options include satellite navigation, automatic climate control and a small sunroof.
