The 6th Generation Honda Accord was introduced in 1997. The 6th Generation Honda Accord is a front engine front wheel drive subcompact sedan. The car featured a very similar design language to that seen on the 5th Generation Accord but featured a range of minor cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. The exterior dimensions of the 6th Generation Accord were also reduced making it considerably narrow than the previous generation, and that classified the Accord as a mid-sized sedan. The Honda Accord is available in 3 variants 1.8 VTS, 2.0 VTS and SiR. Production of the Honda Accord 6th Generation lasted for 6 years. The Honda Accord was available to purchase during the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and the year 2002. The exterior of the 6th Generation Honda Accord is that of a typical sedan. The front fascia features narrow, sleek side swept headlights with a small trapezium shaped front grille, a small trapezium shaped air intake flanked by trapezium shaped fog lights. The rear end features large side swept taillights and large outward sticking bumper. All variants of the Honda Accord feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 6th Generation Honda Accord is fairly restrained and minimalistic.
